This was the last game I could attend before I move, WOW. Meeting dirk, uptown constantly yelling bird rights to devan george and mindgrane to kidd, Harris going off against the mavs, the LOUD thanks you Cuban chant(loudest I've ever heard there) , seeing all the insane amount of jewelry jarvis Hayes has, devin signing uptowns thunderstick that said mindgrane on it and thought it was halarious....all well worth the 5 hour drive to get there

We can't have a fully crowd in IZOD Center, The biggest one of the reasons is that the location is not good for people to come easily.

For those of you who missed it, this was a great experience. The game was fun...the energy between Kidd and Harris (ALSO Vince and Kidd...Vince had more intent to go to the hole than I've seen). When the crowd was invited to move down, suddenly it felt like there really was a crowd there. Lots of cheering, tons of excitement, great celebration with every back breaking 3 we put up...worth the pain to get to the arena.

And watching Kidd get humiliated ON THE COURT...in the immortal words of Michele Beadle -- "you couldn't have scripted this any better".

When I get home later tonight after the Miami game, I want to start a thread about all the slaps against New Jersey fans...Kidd and his "it was like my first game here"...and Cuban's "I guess when you don't care about your own team...". Pissed me off to no end. A bunch of sore losers those Mavs guys. Go Nets!

Oh, and this game marked the return of my man, Jarvis Hayes. The guy is our 6th man...he is critical to our success. And he showed why again last night. I think his absence is one of the main reasons we have struggled of late -- until last night.

Lol I agree devin was laughing. I told mark cuban to find me a job that this economy is so messed up. He was like how would I know? He's worth 9 billion dollars. I asked devin if he heard chants "thank you cuba" he was like yeah, that was very creative of u. It was fun seeing dooling and najera screaming go nets. I didn't even see sean williams at game. Anybody herew saw him?

Damn, I really, really wish I could have been there. I left my house at 3 to go pick up my friend and instead of taking 12 mins, it took 35. We got on the highway and it was really bad so we decided to go to the train station, take the ride into NYC and then take the subway to Secaucus. But then the train was cancelled and it was way too late to start driving. It sounds awesome. Just fantastic. What did Cuban say that quote towards though???

I wanted to go to this game as well but my VW Jetta can't bust through the snow. If this game was in Newark I could have easily taken the train. Thanks again Ratner for keeping the Nets as far away from New Jersey.

I couldn't have asked for a better game to go to, as well. It seemed like the crowd was really into it - everyone was actually WATCHING the game. I'm also glad that I didn't hear boos for Jason Kidd, the ovation was great. I was always jealous of how cool the moments were when an old player returns - I remember Ewing returning to the Garden, Jordan to Chicago, Garnett to Minnesota, etc. The Nets don't have a storied history: it was the first time as a fan that I can remember that we welcomed a player back like that, and it'll be a long time before it happens again. I saw more Kidd jerseys there than all other players combined. The section I was in (before they called the crowd down) had maybe 10-15 people sitting in front of us, and we counted 5 Kidd jerseys (not including my friend sitting next to me in his Kidd jersey).

I was at the game, came from Brooklyn. I ended up getting to my seat (row 2, section 120something) with like 5 minutes left in the first quarter. It was well worth the horrible drive there.

I was like 20 feet from DaveD, Kerber, Al, and the rest of the reporters (who for some reason all have phones from the fucking 1940's), and Brett Yormark walked right in front of me a bunch of times. And I didn't realize it until the 4th, but TJ Kidd was sitting like 3 rows ahead of me. The hair cut through me off.

    Awesome game.

EDIT: And my 2nd row seats were sweat as hell... for a few minutes. Then some random guy from the last row of the upper level is sitting next to me. I felt way less special.
