No surprise, he's such a fantastic player and isn't anywhere near his prime despite his age. I've also recently heard on the Fox Soccer Report that Real Madrid may pursue him in January.

Out of those three, I think Chelsea will have the best chances being that Abramovich is the owner, etc.

    That's what I think. ;)

I think the same, though I don't want that to happen.

You know, there is a chance he could go to Arsenal. I do find him a bit of a gamble though, because his Russian counter-part (Pav) has struggled so far, and Arshavin is a lot smaller.

You can't compare the two because Arshavin isn't a center forward and can't play the position well anyway. He's a deep-lying striker/attacking midfielder and has to be utilized for his quickness, vision, passing and possession. He can control the ball like no other because he has his own way of carrying out attacks. That isn't meant to mean that he's better then everyone else, just to point that out in case some of you have the wrong impression. He often drifts into the box on his own before passing off to another player perfectly, or just scores from the far left or right with a lifting shot. I've seen this done so many times for Russia and Zenit it isn't even surprising anymore. This isn't the only style of play or finishing in his repertoire though.

    Andrei Arshavin

Also, note that Russian football is far more defensive and aggressive then in England, but still carries a similar attacking style. That is why I love the league so much and can't wait for regular viewing on FSC next season.

Juan De Ramos said he really liked him, but I wouldn't go after him in January since he's already played in the Champions League, maybe in the summer.

If we get CR7 and possibly Benzema, we don't need him in Madrid.
We already have Huntelaar,Higuain,Raul and Ruud.

They have midfield anyway, why do they need to add another?

Benzema won't be moving for a few years and the Cristiano Ronaldo rumors have been shot down already. Unlike most clubs, Man United have the money and power to keep the player and not have pressure bother them.

This is Real Madrid, you haven't been following Spanish football I assume. :dunno:

According to gossip, it seems like Chelsea have pulled out.
