Considering all the controversy surrounding Yi Jianlian's Age, does our focus as a team for the future change, and also does our view on Yi personally change.

From the team standpoint, I believe we should definitely look at packaging some players and making a positive change at the power forward position. For example, the Krstic situation could help. Package Krstic, S-Will, and Ager, and Yi for Collison, and Wilcox obviously salary issues would rise up, but that could be accomodated or even send those guys to Charlotte and get Adam Morrison or a "fallen angel" aka Sean May a chance

Our View on Yi should definitely change this shows that he needs to produce now and if he doesnt a bench role looks awfully good and allow Boone to start

I don't think it makes a difference. He's still only playing in his 2nd NBA season. Even players that graduated college sometimes take 2 years to adapt to the pro level.

Pretend he came into the NBA after 4 years of college. He'd be 24 now.

Do we need another thread for this? There is no new investigation from the Chinese. This is just more Americans quoting the same Chinese blogger.

As I was saying to my friends the other day, I could have done a better investigation searching facebook. It's a joke that they're only now finding evidence from his middle school, after Yi is rich and in the NBA. No one came up with the idea of looking into his past till last month... like wow.

I can be a Chinese blogger too, give me money and I'll give you evidence on Yi's true age. as well as photos of Yeti and big foot.

Edit: Adam Morrison is more of a mystery than bigfoot and Yi. You get a white guy that can shoot in college and everyone think he's Bird and become top 5 pick. Just fail there.

Michelle just quoted Kiki and it sounded like a cop out on his end: "...he's a young player". Yes, 24 is young but there is a huge difference when you consider 21 to 24 in terms of how far he is development-wise. If Yi lied to everyone and is really 24, then bust is written all over him, IMO.

If Yi is 24 or 30, he might be a bust. Sure. If Galo has a healthy back, he might be a good player for the Knicks.

Pretty much we're all acting like Chinese bloggers. Pulling stuff out of our butts. Britney Spears isn't fat anymore, she a good singer again.

Like I said many times before, comparing Yi to Gallo is different since Gallo hasn't played yet.

Yi has played and Yi has sucked.

Regardless of whether it makes Yi a bust or not, the difference between 21 and 24 is HUGE. It's the difference between having the majority of your development ahead of you or behind you.

Hey now, he might be older than we think, but he's no Greg Oden...

    Exactly. If he's 24 - he's a significantly worse prospect.
