I wish the best for Jordan, but I honestly, I could care less how much time he misses.

My only concern is that Fisher is the only "true" point guard left on our roster. He played pretty well against Orlando when he got extended minutes, but at this age, obviously you don't want him playing so much every night.

This could end up being a blessing in disguise. Because first of all, besides getting burned every play defensively, Farmar has contributed nothing this season.

Maybe this will just be an added incentive to get another point guard on the roster, and if you're gonna go for it, why not go all the way and get Kirk? At the very least, hopefully Mitch will start working the phones for a point guard who can at least play some defense. Marcus Banks could be another option to fall on if Chicago doesn't want to give up Hinrich.

I just found out earlier today on ESPN that Farmar is Jewish, and is the only Jewish player in the NBA. :)

It's a pity Sun Yue is not ready to step into the backup PG role yet. This would've been a perfect opportunity to showcase himself with Farmar's absence, but he is simply not ready for the strength, speed, and competitiveness of the NBA.

Pargo pulled a Childress and signed a contract overseas, so he's not an option. Marbury needs to be released to even be considered, and he's probably a bad fit into the offense anyway, but for the vet minimum, its worth a shot if he ever becomes available.

I'm inclined to think that it would be pointless to sign somebody, given that that player wouldn't get any PT anyhow due to the kind of system we run. But that's just my opinion.

If I had to put money on it though, I think Joe Crawford is going to be signed off of the D-Fenders. Not exactly the most exciting move for Lakers fans, i know, but just being realistic. He's someone the team is familiar with, and he's have a solid season in the Dleague

i want jcritt back! i really liked him, he was a decent player, why isnt he gettin PT anywhere else? i think he is good for some insurance for playoff time incase one of our other pg's gets injured.

#2 or 3 for me!!! Stoudemire would give us another outside threat (if he can still stroke it like he used to!)plus we would get a veteran with playoff experience, kinda like what cassell is to the celtics.

Java and Pargo would do also... They'd both bring energy off the bench

I'd like to go for Hinrich...but we can't make that move until he comes back from his injury.

I think we might look in to bringing in Damon Stoudamire, since we could get him for cheap and he's available. He's also a proven vet that is a great outside shooter that can help us extend defenses and space the floor.

Don't most former NBA guys in Europe sign contracts with buy-out clauses? Don't know for sure, but that's what I was assuming. That and the fact that Pargo would actually want to sign with us.
