1. It is what it is, no matter what you did in the summer, the knicks suck, that's all. Playing great? who ? David Lee? hell no, he is that younger. Chris Duhon? just a so-so point guard. Wilson Chandler? well.. 2.MVP is for Personal, not for a team, this team except Harris, Carter, none of them are veteran that could start for a entire season. They were not supposed to win 10 games in 2008, even for a entire season.
getting back to game topic....shame on me!!!!.... does anyone else see something different in Devin Harris' attitude and game for the past few weeks??? i mean it looks like he's playing in spite of or someone broke his heart lol... idk, you read certain people by their body language and i mean he just doesnt seem his into it anymore... does anyone else see that? i jus see no spark nor will... none that of which catapulted him into early all-star balloting as well as posting up huge numbers...
So what, I'm from Toronto and follow the Raptors from time to time and read their message boards. But I don't go on their message boards everyday with Nets insignia on and constantly comment on their flaws and struggles even if there might be some truth in it. They would know whats up if I did and would call me out on it. I am rooting for the Nets and found an active board with Nets members here. If there isn't an active Knicks message board on S2 then maybe you should go find some Knicks fans and invite them to chat with you there or go find an active Knicks community on some other site instead of spending you're every waking moment on the Nets board, who you are not even a fan of.
I think it's partly because no one is hitting their shots.....Devin Harris is great with the drive, and that little crossover J. Hits some 3's, but the majority of his points come from penetration. He's good, no doubt, but if no-one else is hitting shots it becomes really easy to shut players like that down by collapsing everyone to the middle of the court. On O, Harris can take just about any pg in the league but again, if he's not getting help, it doesnt matter if he blows past the first guy, because theres going to be another 1-2 waiting for him.
So what, you aren't me. Whether you choose to comment in the Raptors board is your choice. I, however, follow the Nets and choose to comment on them in the Nets board. As mentioned, when I post I support my arguments. Instead of being sensitive and bitching about what I post, you can easily disagree; I'm always open for a good debate. I am also a member of other Knick communities, but the fact that I am a Knick fan has little to do with the matter at hand. I'm a basketball fan, a longtime member of this site, and I enjoy talking hoops. I don't see why I should be limited to how many times I can post in one of the site's most active boards.
You're here simply for trying to highlight and talk about anything negative or flawed about the Nets. Don't give me some BS about constructive criticism. You aren't sitting there hoping Nets can improve and have success on whatever you are pointing out is wrong. You aren't here on some good will mission. And it's annoying enough to respond to because you're persistent with it. Just look at your recent posting history. It's almost all Nets. It's like me going on some Raptors message board everyday sporting Nets insignia and highlighting and hammering on their struggles. Bargnani is a disappointment. Bosh is struggling this month. They lost to the Thunder. They're a big disappointment.Remember all those expectations you guys had in the offseason? blah blah blah. And even though some of it might be true it doesn't mean I'm not trolling. Because I would be like you are here.
At the game tonight, the only noise being made was applause for the dancing fans on the All Access video screen, and every make by Yao...even worse than the Knicks game.
someone has to take some responsibility for letting Aaron Brooks go off for 22 points and 6 assists... Also Good job on VC and Hassell on their defense on T-mac and Artest. Nets just lost to a better team. Woulda liked to see more energy, but the rockets just played better. Brook was okay for his first time against yao. Yi was iono prob nervous? Our offense was nonexistent. I guess we'll always struggle in the future if Devin doesn't perform well.
Now that Harris is labeled top 5 guard in the east. Other teams will play harder to stop him. Brooks came in under the radar and put the hurt on Harris and Harris got embarrassed bad. Nets must add a second dimension to the offense, either post up or better assists and cutting to the basket. One trick pony will leave Nets battling for the 8th seed.
First off i have no problem with mr.J posting here. All his points are valid and this board needs intelligent posters here. So he's not a nets fan who cares, he's a basketball fan who wants to discuss basketball. Again, i have no problem with that. Both the nixs and nets are young teams rebuilding. Every argument you make about the nixs being bad right now can and do apply to the nets. What do you expect from a team that is so young and inexperienced? Now, back to the game that just transpiried. The nets were outclassed and over matched by a good defensive team that has more than 2 defensive stoppers. Brooks did to the nets what Harris usually does to other teams. Devin Harris is a great offensive player but on nights like this he was exposed for his defensive effort, as well as Carter was. Take DH and VC out of the equasion and you have a disaster like this happen. Was Yi terrible again, YES but he's like a rookie who can't play good defense. So was Brook Lopez, and so was Anderson. This game was a learning experience for the rookies and one of the reasons why Frank benched VC and DH in the 3rd. Even though the nets lost they gained very valuable minutes on the court against a good team. Frank can use this tape to help train the rookies and teach them more valuable lessons. Its only one loss against a very good team which the nets were and are supposed to lose to anyway, but the experience will help tremdiously down the road. This is whats supposed to happen to a very young team when they face a tough defensive team. This is what you want the rookies to become. To learn how to play defense like the rockets. The nets will lose at least half their game this year, and expect them to always lose to elite type of teams. If they can learn from it they will improve for next year. Its just one Loss, and the mavs game was just one Win. As a player you can't too high on a win, or to low on a loss. This young team will struggle this year, will have its slumps, and will have its growing pains. Relax and enjoy the ride. oh yeah, go nets!!!
Didnt i tell deleted to get the hell out of this forum. Your team sucks ***et. lololololol Knicks are not going to the playoffs. No personal attacks. Joker already warned you and I'm warning you again. Let this be the last time. It's also laughable that you think you can tell me where I can post. -Mr. J
does anyone feel that there is chemistry amongst our baby nets? for instance take a look at the Rockets(well coached) they move together and everyone knows there roles as well as play unselfishly.
I don't mind Mr.J posting here at all. Like you guys said, he does make some valid points in regards to our Nets. But I also think that it's sort of annoying that he only comes here to Criticize our team and its weaknesses. I mean WE KNOW they are not the best, but to have it coming from someone who does not give two shits(Especially a Knicks fan with Marbury in his signature, lol) about our team kinda upsets most posters (Which I think is understandable) My point is, I like Mr.J as a poster but it becomes a tad annoying when all of us as fans of the Nets are frustrated with our team and he just comes on here to tell us that they are not good enough, overrated etc.
