2:24 left in the first and this game is over. Welp, more time for me to do Christmas shopping, thanks Warriors!
The Warriors had a very weird strategy in the third quarter of having Biedrins as basically the PG. I am not sure what the goal of that was. I guess maybe to clear out Howard from the paint and have Wright go one on one against, I think Lewis, in the paint. But it didn't really work out at all. Those were some horrible possessions. But yeah, the shooting was just way off that night, and the Magic were on fire. Randolph had a good game. 12 boards, 11 points, 3 blocks. Biedrins lead the team in assists with 5. Such a crazy game. He also went 2-9. Everyone had a Stephen Jackson game in Orlando. One last thing: I like(d) Stan Van Gundy. I don't understand why he was let go like he was from Miami (kind of like the Nets and Byron Scott). I thought he did a very good job there. Orlando is fortunate to have such a good coach. He was even pulling the Don Nelson dress code out last night with his jacket over a t-shirt thing.
Pretty horrendous. What can you say? Randolph was the lone bright spot. Marco was trying but some of his youth showed like passing in the air (with no intent of shooting to begin with).
Pat Riley's ego got in the way. He wanted to take all the glory and win a championship, which he did.
