So I have this long sleeved Blazers shirt that I picked up for this season. Every fargin time I have worn it the Blazers have lost(8 times). So let's hear the opinions. Should I burn it? Should I sacrifice it to the basketball gods? Should I serve spaghetti on it in order to appease the giant spaghetti monster? Or am I just freaking out over some weird superstition....
How about you keep the shirt, but wear it when we play the Thunder at the Rose Garden. I think we can win that game, haha.
Just don't wear it. Maybe once we secure a playoff spot you can test it out again to see if it's truly cursed.
Testing the shirt on an important playoff game? No way!!! That game is way too important to test the shirt on...unless...it is the opposite at playoff games!!! Edited: Oh I see. Use it on a game after securing the playoffs, but not the playoffs. That's what I get for not paying attention!
Anyone else remember that red Blazer T-shirt the team sold specially made for the Laker game in 2001 at home, and we were both sitting at 42-14. We lost that game.... and I threw that shirt away immediately.
The shirt must be purified! The best looking lady you know must watch the game while wearing the shirt as a dress...with nothing underneath. Remember to post pictures here so we can make sure you performed the ceremony correctly.
Wear it for the first half, if the Blazers are down after two quarters take it outside, throw it on the snow, pour kerosene over it and do what must be done.
Put said shirt on Laker fan (you might have to get them very drunk or knock them out first) and see what happens. Worth a shot.
