Time: December 23rd, 5:00pm PDT Ouch. Should be a good test. The Hornets are 2nd in the West, and only 2 games behind us in the loss column. We have to start the game off with energy from the get-go. No more lazy first halves and playing catchup in the second.
I can't believe how anyone can justify starting Luke over Vladrad. He is absolutely dogshit. He gives us nothing on the court.
Damn... 37 points at the half? Pau with a three??? This team came out focused today. Nice to see. 24 minutes of basketball left. We look great so far, but let's hold on!!!
Boston and Cleveland are also blowing out their own opponents... Wow... The East really is dominating the West.
This game is showing us why Ariza could and should be a starter. The guy outplays Walton on defence and shoots better on offence; not to mention his movements on offence. I thought the whole reason behind starting Vlad was to spread the floor. Ariza has proven that he can do it as well, maybe not quite as good as Vlad, but he makes up for it by doing everything else better, including defence. Now that Walton is starting, the focus is towards ball movement. But Ariza has proven that he can move the ball well on offence and create a lot of space by constant movement. Ariza should start. He played alongside Odom, Kobe, Gasol, and Fisher for the most part of the second quarter, and looked fantastic.
He hits both, 58-41. Butler misses a three, then after Bynum gets the off board Kobe drains a three at the other end.
