Re: Grade your team's performance so far Team: Los Angeles LakersGrade: B- or BI have very little to say about this season. It has been good and been terrible. Sure we have Kobe who can score 50 on any given night, but he can't make the whole team win. We have lost over 10-15 games that we should have won. Like we lost to Hornets, Bobcats and Hawks in February already. Hopefuly the All-Star break will let them re-group. And Mihm will be back (maybe).Kurt Cobain 39th Birthday-February 20th
Re: Grade your team's performance so far Toronto RaptorsB-We started out the season terribly and we still aren't that good but I didnt expect mcuh with the young players and roster w have. Chris Bosh is playing at an amazing rate. Calderon is passing well. CV is rebounding well, he is a rough player and he is doing well, good shots, good off put backs, Mike James is just shooting the <Censored> out of the ball which is good but I'd like him to some times pass it on important shots. Mo Pete is playing the best ball of his career, though he is pretty inconsistant shooting some days, when he gets hot you CANNOT stop him. He also plays good defense and is good at drawing charges. Pape Sow has been a good surprise for us. He is aggresive on both sides which is good most of the time but he can get into foul trouble and commit some turnovers. Bonner has been a dissapointment. He has missed alot of open shots, he has stuggled on D. He's trying to put the ball on the floor too much which he cannot do. He has to realize that he is here to shoot not do things that he cannot do. Derrick Martin has helped as being a solid mentor for us. He can still hit 1 3 occasionally, he rarely plays but he has been a help to us. Thank you AD for filling the void at Center for us, well you havn't been shooting well you have provided us with solid defense and rebounding. Joey I know you are only a rookie but your defense hasn't been what we expected and your shooting is sometimes off the mark. We could use some consistancy from you. But you have been athletic and willing to drive and get the foul for us, which I appreciate and you have been able to shoot well on some occasions. And otherwise we really need to work on our defense. We are one of the worst at that. Hoffa I would really like to send you down to the D league so you can gain some experience, you really seem lost on the court. You sometimes have been a good body for us but you get into foul trouble and you basically go through the same thing every day. You need some help at a lower level. That helped Pape a lot and I think it could help you But basically this is what I expected and if you take the opening month away we would probably hold the 8th seed right now. We are a rebuilding team and I think we can be solid in the future.

Injuries have really hurt us a lot this season. If we had no injuries this season we would be one of the top teams in the entire league. No question about it. Our biggest injury which hurt us the most was the Yao and Mac combo. We lost our scoring load for a long time and it really hurt us a bunch. Without TMac and Yao we are around 0-16 - 0-18. With TMac in by himself we are around 10-7 or something like that. With Yao and Mac together we are 16-8(I think). When they came back we were a strong team trying to get the 8th seed right now and we are doing a pretty good job. McGrady is on a slump right now because of personal reasons bothering him but im sure he will get back on track. I doubt the Rockets will make it to the 8th seed unless they trade D.A or Wesley. One of our problems is we are always trying to get that three. If we stop that and drive it in we have a good chance. Rafer I hate but right now but is impressing me right now. He is averging 14 PPG. 48% FG and around 9-10 APG. in the last 6 games. Right now we just need McGrady back on track and drive it in. We did blow out the Clippers and that was when McGrady was driving it in a lot...and he only did it in 29 minutes. Thats how good we are when we are not injured or shooting insanely.</div>i'm curious as to how you can grade them a B+ when they are 9 games under .500. c'mon man that's a little to optimistic. detroit's grade is an A they're the best in the league. are you saying that the rockets are right behind the pistons who are 42-9? that's ridiculous.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (dsounG @ Feb 20 2006, 05:20 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>They are improving. Actually latley we've been playing horribly and that also goes for earlier on in the season. December's road trip was good.
Re: Grade your team's performance so far I'd say the Mavs would have to get an A or an A+ at this point. Best in the west. This is all the more impressive when considering that they were very much underdogs going into the season (again).

A <Censored> title run or something?
Re: Grade your team's performance so far i hate the lakers but i wouldn't give them a D. they're .500 and no one, including me really expected them to win. i actually thought the knicks were gonna be better because our roster is a lot better but i was wrong. i'd give the lakers a C+/B
Re: Grade your team's performance so far <span style="font-family:Arial">(Cleveland Cavaliers) 31-21, 2nd in the Central Division.Low: B- High: BI'd say anywhere in the B range sounds good. We haven't played like an A team this year, but we haven't played bad enough to be in the "average" category. We're somewhere in-between that, above average for the most part. We just need to keep it up, and get better after each game in the 2nd half.</span>
