I just saw this at RealGM.
    http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wi...a_few_changes_in_new_all_star_voting_returns/

Damn, Roy's place in All-Star Voting hasn't changed. Even after his 52 point outburst. Raefer Alston and Jason Terry are ahead of him. That's just pathetic. :ughno:

I guess Roy isn't popular enough due to our small market size, never making it the the playoffs, and not being flashy enough. Oh well, I guess we'll have to count on the coaches to vote him in again.

Also, LaMarcus is 11th for forwards, while Oden is 5th for centers in the West. Our team is getting snubbed. No respect at all.

Funny he is 7th in MVP voting but 10th on west conf. guards.

And yea Oden or LMA don't deserve it at all.

True, but guys like Luis Scola and Bruce Bowen are ahead of Aldridge. :NOTMARIS: That is just insulting.

You know it's because of the international fan vote in large part. Roy won't get voted into the ASG for quite a while...none of our players will. But I doubt Roy will be snubbed after how well he's played.

Luke Ridnour's getting more votes than Joe Johnson and Jose Calderon. Yi Jianlian's getting more votes than Chris Bosh, Paul Pierce, Danny Granger, many others that are better than him...

I can understand the Chinese getting all homery about Yi, but where the hell is all this support for Ridnour coming from?

(Edit: This site isn't very Chinese Character friendly)

Wow, Luke Ridnour. Luke FREAKING Ridnour has more votes than Roy!

This is a travesty. Who is voting for this guy? Are there a lot of Duck homers with computers or something? Does he have friends who are computer hackers? It doesn't make much sense, since he is putting up pedestrian numbers and doesn't have a very flashy game, nor has he done anything in the playoffs. He's not a household name and he doesn't have much endorsement or exposure. I'm dumbfounded. :banghead:

Ridnour is doing well in voting because Yi was on the bucks last season. Bucks games were shown all the time in China so they got attached. What you're seeing is a carry over even though Yi is on the nets.

The chinese voting just makes a mockery of the whole process. Yi over Bosh? Alston over roy? (teammate effect for all the rockets) Scola over aldridge, Mcgrady over Paul... just a mockery.

Yes, the chinease vote is stupid as all hell. They should not be able to vote. Should be USA only.

And how does Gilbert Arenas get so many votes when he hasn't played in 1 game this year? Fans are so stupid. I think the ASG voting needs to be re-structured.

Games like tonight aren't helping the cause any. True *stars* take over down the stretch and "refuse to lose." Roy just isn't on that level.
