Has anyone noted that Dallas has done this without Dirk?

    Can't rebound = can't win

We need someone to teach our guys how to properly box out. Bring Buck Williams back.

the only thing that bothers me is that we got completely outhustled and played terrible, terrible pick n' roll defense.

I'm tired of the stupid mistakes and watching the Blazers being outhustled.

Worst frickin' loss of the season. If the Blazers don't make the playoffs this season, they'll probably look back at this game and realize that they just gave a huge Christmas present to the Mavs.

Inexcusable play in the fourth quarter.

We've committed to Oden apparently so we are going to have to live with this jr. high play for a while. We are definitely a better team with Pryz...no question. But we have decided to play for the future. Greg is going to have to decide he cares about winning and stop focusing on all the other stuff that is apparently clouding his head and getting in the way of him giving 100% effort. Tonights performance was unacceptable by a professional.

Playing travis as long as we do makes no sense to me.

Special thanks to Nate, Travis and Steve for contributing mightily to this loss.

    Add Greg to that mix.

He took a huge dump on the floor tonight.

G'night guys, hopefully the team does a bunch of defensive rebounding drills and comes back strong for the Raps.

why are people blaming greg? we must have watched a whole different game, he was boxing out, helping on the weak side, and was aggressive. the 4 other players on the court are making him look bad i guess

one other thing...I think this team actually thinks they are good. BIG MISTAKE. They CAN be good but they have to play their butts off to win. Coasting to a W will not happen. Early success has made us stupid. We won early because of our defense...now we are flat footed expecting teams to bow down to us. Foolish.

We can't be giving away easy game like this at home when trying to make the playoffs.

We are going to fall out of the playoff picture quickly as a lot of these teams get their players back from injury.

Make a f-ing trade during the season for once KP!

It's probably because defense is easier to learn through experience rather than just instruction. Maybe we do need to trade some of our pieces for a vet.

He has no defensive instincts, he can't hit foul shots, and for all that boxing out that you talked about, a 5'9 guy had more rebounds than him.

    Horrific night.

Agree 100%. Tonight was just unacceptable. How does Travis play 33 minutes while Aldridge only plays 24? Tonight was the most frustrating game to watch in a long time, so many missed opportunities... I was never a we need to do a trade guy but KP better be working on something good.

Maybe you didn't see that heartbreaker against Orlando, or possibly the woeful Clippers going off against us?

Uhm. You realize that JJ had 9 rebounds because Greg was blocking out and battling Brandon Bass and tipping rebounds out while Steve Blake decided to let little 5'9 JJ Barrea run right by him and pick up the ball, right?
