Did anyone see the post game interview last night on YES with Brook Lopez? I can't seem to find a video anywhere of this interview. Not only did he sound like he was still in high school, he had this shit-eating grin on his face, this goofy, 12 year-old sound to his voice, this bewildered look on his face and the words that came out his mouth made Sarah Palin look like a genius in the Katie Couric interview.

If anyone has this clip or a link, please, please post it. It is hysterical. Oh, and where did he go to college again?

Get this kid some media training to match his mouth with his game!

Have you seen any of his other video interviews? I didn't watch the one you were talking about, but that's how he always is.

He seems be a very nice guy, but there's a reason why he temporarily couldn't play for Stanford because of his academic ineligibility.

Pretty much anything with him and Anderson seem like they smoked before hand. It's really funny.

Brook is hilarious. I saw the interview and the interviewer asked him what he did on the last play and Brook just said "I watched Devin hit the shot" and then after a long silence he was like "What are you talking about?"

Brook Lopez is your typical Cali Surfer.

That was classic. Then was some line about, when the refs were reviewing the play, he wanted to get off the court and onto the bus and get away so they couldn't restart the game.

He was also stunned when the interviewer mentioned that Frank had specifically complimented him on the play in his post game remarks. "Like, all I did was kinda stand around". And then there was that comment about how putting him in the game was a great substitution by the coach. And he says it all with that surfer-dude, clogged up voice...amazing entertainment!

I didn't actually know this about Brook, that he was suspended from the team. What was the deal? I guess he fits right into the fine draft-day tradition of Sean Williams and Marcus Williams...except thankfully, he can play!

It's just when they use that phrase, Basketball IQ, I had always hoped that some of the Stanford-ism would rub off on him.

By the way, has anyone else noticed that his brother Robin is a dead ringer for Anderson Varajo?
