KG starting shit with another small Euro guy; add Beli to the list with Sergio Rodriguez and Jose Calderon. Where's Anthony Peeler when you need him lol. Of course he never did any of this fake thug stuff with Jackson, Turiaf, Azubuike, etc.

Was Maggette at the game? Jim Barnett said he was in LA rehabbing his injury. He even sent out a message to Maggette saying that he needs to get back with the team ASAP because it needs his scoring. But that would be funny if he was actually at the game. I guess that does look like him.

Nice win but horrible officiating in this game. Both teams received bad calls and no-calls, but the Warriors got the worst of it. I have some game pics I will post tomorrow that demonstrate this. I don't like to whine about officiating, but it's just amazing at some of the calls the Celtics get. Not like subtle could go this way or that way stuff, but really blatantly obvious things being overlooked.

First, Biedrins, who continues to get no respect from NBA officials. Here he is on offense being tomohawk-chopped hard straight across both arms by Rondo, and no call.

Now, same two players, this time Andris is on defense. I don't blame you if you don't see Rondo at first because he is completely behind Andris, who as you can see has his arms straight up in the air. That was called a foul on Biedrins.

Here's Belinelli's head being snapped back after an elbow by KG, which he was doing all night. That's not a flop by Belinelli, the video shows it better, but KG actively threw that shoulder into Belinelli. No foul and you can see the official looking directly at the play with a clear view.

And now same thing with KG on D just taking out Belinelli with a vicious elbow and very obviously with intent (if you see the video). No foul.

It's just incredible what these guys get away with. This is just a small sample from that game too, I could have easily found many more (again, I want to say the Celtics got some bad calls as well, but not as many).

Hmm, the way I saw it, it looked like Belinelli started the talking after KG laid him out. Belinelli was pissed that it didn't get called, but like the Celtics announcer Donny Marshall said, that no-call was basically the result of Belinelli crying wolf too many times in the 4th quarter. He got a few calls by flopping, but then when he actually did get fouled the refs weren't buying it. By the way the announcers were talking, it sounded like that was what KG was saying to him.

You could make a similar post about every game for every team. Officials suck, but they suck equally for every team. Sure, you might feel like the officials screwed you in one game, but there's going to be a game down the line where the refs will screw the opposing team just as bad. It's just the way it goes. And its not even worth talking about when your team actually wins the game.

Yeah, KG was mad that Beli kept getting the flop calls. Most of the fouls were legit but Belinelli sold them really well so the refs couldn't ignore it. I think usually the celts play pretty physically like that anyway but Beli was doing a good job of forcing the refs to blow the whistle. It wasn't the first time KG lowered the shoulder into Beli but it was definitely the hardest and most malicious. Shoulda been a foul, dunno how the refs missed it but generally its just tough play by KG setting a monster pick on a dude who was driving the C's nuts the entire game. Not really a big deal but, again, why the hell does KG never start anything with guys his own size? Dude always acts tough but never gets into it with anyone who could actually come close to matching up with him in a brawl.

I don't mind the intensity by KG, it kind of brings you back to the NBA days when players were tough, they hated each other, and guys who annoyed you would get laid out. On the same token though, KG only picks on these small guards. I don't think its a coincidence that he never starts anything with big, mean players.

How does it make sense for him to start with guys that won't be intimidated by him? He does it to gain a competitive advantage, not to get dropped by somebody or laughed off.

Wow. I can't say that I expected the C's to lose last night, again. I figured they'd pummel a Warriors team missing Crawford, Maggs, etc.

Wow, guys, this game was awesome!!! Not to get ahead of ourselves, but maybe we're more awesome without high volume shooting, momentum-killing chuckers like Crawford and Maggette? And jack is back! Nice game from him along with Turiaf and Beli. There's our inside/outside game right there.

KG: What are they gonna say now? What can they say now?

ALL: You always pick on guys smaller than you, but never anyone your same size.

Great experience. Got to watch it in person and really made me remember why we are shelling out the $$ for the tickets. Just rocking almost the entire 4th quarter with everyone around me standing almost the entire quarter, for both offense and defense.

I saw all the calls that Belinelli got and the refs got them right. The Celtics were lowering the shoulder and leaning into him every time. Bad basketball. Want to set a pick? Do it right, don't lean just because the defender is smart enough to move to get around the pick; you're penalizing good defense then.

Warriors went small the entire 4th quarter which got me thinking oh no, no Wright or Biedrins we're going to get smashed on the glass!!! But never happened. Warriors cleared the defensive glass and made their offensive possessions count. Only downside is Nellie is going to think his small ball lineup is the answer. Its not.

The Warriors won because they got great outside shooting from Belinelli and Jax, that was vintage Jax hitting huge shots. Best Beli play I saw was him coming off a screen and seeing nobody come out and he hit a nice bank shot from the right of the lane. Pretty shot.

Wright hits some pretty shots, goes 4-9 and plays Garnett tough on D and even for a half and he barely plays in the 2nd half. Nellie Sucks.

Personally, I thought Nellie was going to blow it by trying to set the tone from outside... but I guess he got lucky. His outside guys were hot.
