Should have been mentioned as it was broken. That's just poor preparation for it not to be. Gordon is having a great first half. Hopefully Vinny doesn't bench him to start the 2nd, and continues to ride Gordon's hot hand.
Bulls have blown a 7 point lead and now trail by 10. 17 point turnaround for the Hawks. It coincided with bringing in Nocioni, who has a +/- of -10 in 5 minutes.
Bulls didn't look particularly good, but managed to cut the lead to 5 at halftime. Thabo brought his A game, if he actually has one. 5-5 and 2-2 3pt. But Joe Johnson has lit him up the whole time he's been on him. Not that Joe wouldn't light up just about anyone... Woot!
Not a bad half all things considered. I feel like if the Hawks concentrated, they'd be blowing the bulls out though.

Bulls nearly tied this up. Gordon with the 1-on-1 fast break, stopped like he was going to take the pullup 3, waited for Thabo and passed to him, pass back out, and bang 3! But Atlanta is now up 6.

It actuall wasn't much of a force. It was a good pump fake move. Unfortunately, Ben rushed it. Oh well. We have big problems at the small forward and center positions still. I like what Tyrus has done recently. But we still need a legit, 7 foot, defensive center. Maybe Asik is that guy, but perhaps we will miss the playoffs this year, and someone like Hasheem Thabeet will end up being that guy. Regardless, Nocioni, Hinrich, Gooden, Hughes, and probably Deng have to be ridden of this team. We need to get that capspace for a good 2010 power forward, trade for or draft a legit 7 foot defensive center, and settle on a small forward, whether it be Deng or Sefolosha.
