I am not sure which surprises me more - Mir or Rampage. I thought Page had a chance, just not in such a dominating fasion. Mir I thought had zero chance. Has age finally caught up to Nog, or has Mir suddenly taken a big step forward?
I think Mir's training seriously for the first time in a while and he looked athletic and fast for a HW like he did at times prior to his accident.
Idk how many times Mir landed that jab right uppercut to Nog. I might get bashed for this, but I really believe if the ref didn't stop the fight Nog would have been able to hold on. I'm not saying he would have won or that wouldn't happen again later, I'm just saying I feel he could have been able to grab a body part of Mir with just 2 more seconds of time. But I'm not saying at all this is a early stoppage. I just know what Nog is capable of.
Mir looked FANTASTIC tonight. When did he learn how to box?! I'm happy to have him as champ. He deserves it. He did to Nog what nobody could before (thanks Japanese refs!). His rematch with Lesnar should be epic. Plus now we get to see Randy vs. Nog, hopefully.
