Big difference. You can tell if a player is good because you can see him play. You can't hear or see what a coach does to help his team win. That is the whole point.

You can't tell me why a coach is "coach of the year" one season" and fired the next. Usually there is no good reason for it. Yes sometimes change is needed, but as the saying goes, coaches just don't forget how to coach. Bottom line: It is all about the players.

Fans think they are always smarter than the coach. This is absurd.

agreed Grandpablaze. I just got home from work and it's nice to look at a box score and see we got the win.

We didn't win by enough, and we should have had three double doubles. I hate this team, anyone want my season tickets?

It doesn't look like it in the Box Score, but I liked how Travis played tonight. Yes, he was lost on offense sometimes, and his defensive lapses continue. I personally don't think that's going to change much.

BUT he had flashes where he was going hard after the boards, and attacking the rim on some of his drives. It wasn't a perfect game by any stretch, but all I ask for for Travis is to go hard after rebounds, go hard after loose balls, attack the rim with the crazy athleticism, and if you still have energy after that, please make your FTs and open 3's.

Nice to see Oden having a good game. Hopefully he'll keep it up.

Good point. This was one instance where we can't say "if Travis' shot isn't falling he doesn't do anything else to help the team".

he was all over the court!

I think I speak for the majority when I ask this, "What in the hell are you talking about?" I swear to God, I feel like just swallowed a bottle of crazy pills after reading parts of this thread. :NOTMARIS::NOTMARIS::confused:
