His spirit, his energy are definitely missed. A part of me is sad we let him go, another part of me understands he wouldn't have a role on this team if he did return... I just hope he retires in a Laker uniform. He's probably one of my all time favorite Lakers. Anyways, Ronny comes home tomorrow, and I can't wait. He's been having a great season with the Warriors, and I believe he is their starting center. I better see some standing ovations tomorrow. Great person, great teammate, he deserves all the love he can get in LA.
The warriors deserve a standing O for beating down the Celtics after us, hahahah Welcome home, Ronny! Where you belong!
A part of me is concerned about this game, seeing as how they managed to beat the Celtics. But then I look at their injury report and see that Maggs and Crawford are both likely out. I also note that they're one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA while we're one of the top scoring teams in the NBA. After that, my worries subside and I realize that this SHOULD be a relatively easy game.
I imagine that that's what the Celtics thought and look what happened to them. We just need to play the way we're capable of playing and not play down to them, and we should be good.
I saw one thing I liked about Sun. Even when the crowd cheered him on loudly to take a shot, he did not force one. Although he shot one with the shot clock down, and made it, he did not give into the crowd's temptations. This is a huge step in gaining trust from Jax to play at this level - overcoming any fear, emotions, and putting the game into focus.
