ridiculous. you think mcnabb and the eagles won't be just as happy keeping owens and the cowboys out of the playoffs as they would be making it themselves?
Would you be just as happy to be sending another team home and throwing away your season than having a shot at the Super Bowl?
if the eagles are eliminated already, they are still going to come to play. switching times is irrelevant and doesn't help the cowboys.
They'll still come to play but they won't have the motivation that they would have if their playoff hopes were still on the line, as they would have been if the game stayed at one o'clock. It does help the Cowboys, you can argue how much it helps, but it definitely doesn't hurt them and gives their opponents a distraction.
Donovan? TO? Cowboys IN Philly? Regardless of playoff hopes, the Cowboys playoff chances ride on this game. The COWBOYS, probably the Eagle's biggest rivals in recent years has their entire future on the line in this very game, in PHILLY. Sorry Alex, but hell yes I think the Eagles want this one. If you look at the games this year, the Eagles have blown so many opportunities to win games, I think they take out all that frustration on Dallas this Sunday. Dallas better bring nothing less than their A game, maybe even more. Because with the Eagle's season most likely over (Bucs won't lose to the Raiders) next week, we'd love NOTHING more than to take Dallas down with us. Not to mention the game is going to be played IN Philly. One can only imagine the atmosphere on Sunday. It's gonna be great. That type of "giving up" attitude would probably work in any other game, but not to a game against the Cowboys. Especially if their season rests on that one game. Like I said, the Eagles would love NOTHING more than to ruin the Cowboy's season. I'm willing to bet they come out the gate fired up as hell, regardless of what happens, and play their hearts out.
