Vinny should watch out with dick moves like this. Pissing Rose/Gordon and to a lesser extent, Tyrus, does no good. Rose/Gordon can pretty much single handedly make or break Vinny's coaching career. Thomas, if he got his head screwed on right, could really make this team excel.

Vinny is reaching Tim Floyd and Jim Boylan levels with his quitting.

I was going to say that maybe he was saving them for tomorrow's game, but there is no game tomorrow. I don't see much chance for this game, even with BG firing up threes. Rose wasn't aggressive enough to start, and BG came out clunking. Might as well let Larry chuck to his hearts content and get it out of his system for another couple of weeks.

Well, I've seen enough. Happy New Year.

The problem is Vinny is doing massive chemistry killers times 10 in this game. Last year, Skiles lost the team after the mass substitution against Toronto. Vinny not only did a stupid mass substitution, but he left Thabo in the game to start it off, but also brought Rose back in the game.

Vinny could recover by bringing Gordon and one of the bigs back in, but if he doesn't, he just made a massive chemistry killing set of moves.

Del Harris probably just saved Vinny from losing the team by telling him to put Gordon/Gray back in.

It's relatively amazing how Hughes gets rewarded with more PT every time he complains. I wonder if he brings VDN a shiny apple every morning?

As far as this game... I'm not gonna say much about it except that I don't see much, if any point in having key players in the game down by 20 with 7 minutes left. If we do come back (Gordon just hit 5 points in a row) to cut it to 18, I'm still going to think it was pointless and we suck.

Oh, and in general saying Thabo Sefolosha has not made much of his opportunity for increased PT is an understatement. He's sucked ass.

See, this is why benching Rose/Gordon right away in the third was idiotic. He dribbled it off his foot once, who cares? We have bigger problems than that. Gordon can go off just like that, and if this started happening in the third, this could be a game. (Then again, we'd actually have to get a stop too).

LOL at Vinny benching Gordon after he scored 10 minutes in like 2 minutes. How did this guy ever get a coaching job in the NBA? Nothing he does makes sense.

Probably because we were still down 20. Time to call it and play the kids. Too late for my taste.

OK, one more thing. Tyrus loafing and obviously screwing around and acting pouty at the end when he was being guarded by JR Reddick in garbage time.

Fuck you Tyrus. Instead of seeing an opportunity, he sees everything as an insult – a reason to pout, bitch, and half-ass it.

Which is why he routinely gets his ass kicked. He’s a pussy and he doesn’t deserve better than what he gets. Tyrus is a young player who hasn’t exactly built a resume of success. He’s in no way established that he’s entitled to, well… pretty much anything.

I’m all for being player friendly, but it’s not too much to ask of a guy to help himself and it’s reasonable to get frustrated with someone when they continually won’t. And it's not just my frustration.

I mean jeez, even if you completely discount the obvious frustration Pax, Skiles, VDN (despite their faults, they have valid views), and that nameless assclown (whose opinion I don’t value at all) showed, this is pretty much the same stuff that had Rose and damn near every veteran on the team practically screaming on court at Tyrus earlier in the year. The only difference tonight is that they just weren’t out there. But don’t think that they didn’t see it, and don’t think it doesn’t make THEM think he’s a total clown. Nobody wants their teammates to act like losers.

Which is exactly what Thomas has consistently acted like.

And yeah, it’s pretty important. Tyrus had been more productive of late, but the truth of the matter is he’d have to be damn near an all-star to make fans, coaches and teammates consider that sort of stuff minor. Success breeds forgiveness. Being slightly above average with a crummy attitude makes you damn near useless.
