Game Thread: New Jersey Nets @ Detroit Pistons (Wed. 12/31/2008, 3:00 PM EST)

What the hell was Frank thinking when he chose not to foul with 38 seconds on the clock and the Nets down by 4 with Detroit inbounding?? That really pissed me off...if they could not get the steal in the first 3 or 4 seconds of the clock, you have to foul there- i do not understand that decision at all....so Detroit took the full 24 basically, grabbed an offensive board and then the failed jump ball...Even if the nets had rebounded the damn ball, they would be down 4 still (2 possessions) with about 12 or 14 seconds and just one 20 second timeout to spare...awful decision...

i would rather have had the nets foul...hope somebody on detroit misses one by chance then you would be down 5 pts with over 30 seconds to go....get a quick shot or god forbid a 3 fell in and you are in much much better shape...oh well...happy new year all, go out and celebrate. I'll take 15-17 at year's end, all things considered

no no no, in my angle he isn't that good, he try at evertime but always one step late when need his help defense.

 

look i kno the nets are strugglin at home and just lost 2 in a row... but im still very impressed with what we have done so far... remember guys we were picked to be 2nd to last in the league, just ahead of OKC.... soooo im happy and i still believe we make the playoffs... LETS GO NETS!!
