"It was a nightmare in Detroit, and now it is over," Milicic said Tuesday. "It was not good. I never got to play no matter what I did. It was very hard, but it is over now and I do not want to think about it anymore. As soon as I leave Detroit, I get happier. "This is good for me, I am happy I am here. They're a great group of guys and now I finally get a chance to play." [READ]</div> You never played because when you did you were terrible.
Haha.To Darko's defense he was an uneccesary draft pick, Detroit's already nasty, how the hell would he fit into their offense? I hope he does well in Orlando, he got picked over Bosh, Wade, Melo, for a reason so he's got some talent.
Good to see him overcome his issues. Being a Piston gave him a low self esteem, championship or not. He's now gettig a chance to addapt to the league. His stats are improving also
He would've been big with Detroit if they didn't get Rasheed Wallace. It was hilarious how much hype they gave him and then they just put him as a bench warmer.
Yeah Detroit should've played him more. I don't understand why Flip plays the starters so much but somehow Darko got left out by Flip as well.
You guys better watch out for the DAILY DOUBLE, Dwight and Darko. Milicic is no joke. In onyl 10 games, learning a new team philospophy and playing style, he averages 7.2 ppg,5 rpg, and 2 bpg in only 20 minutes a game!!!! Whatch out for Darko the so called "bust" :nasty:
