Steve Francis is yet another highly paid player on their team2. Steve Francis is yet another shoot first player. Crawford, Francis, and Marbury are all shoot first players, which will rub off on the other palyers, making them selfish. Basically, you are asking for a selfish team, which will breed controversy. Nothing good comes out of that situation, ever.3. You traded Trevor Ariza, a player who would have been a solid contributor for years to come, for a player clearly on the decline.4. Did I mention chemistry issues? Francis hasn't exactly been the easiest palyer to work with.Good enough for you?

Magic are smart, get rid of an unhappy francis and get an expring contract for cap space at the end of the season

Dwight can really shine now.I predict 18 and 12 at the end of the season.

Yeah Francis does not seem to make the right decisions with the ball. I doubt he changes with the knicks. It will be entertaining how a Francis and Marbury backcourt will show. I could see them getting owned on defense by other scoring guards.

I hope Steve and Stephon can play well together, but only time will tell. If they can both elevate their games then the Knicks are an easy playoff contender, and that could end up being a top five backcourt in the league, IF, and only if they both step up.

With Richardson's three point shooting, Jalens defense, Crawford outta control-ness and Francis and Marbury's shoot first and T.O type of play.I spell D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R!

The Penny back to O-Town would be cool, if he didn't mess things up with management before and with the fans. Their just waiting til the day he expires and leaves. But for the time being, I say bring back Lil' Penny.

I agree i would like to see that again. I'm sure some kids had nightmares because of that doll. This trade seems kind of whack for ny but i have to just see how they play the next few games to see cause francis and marbury on backcourt seems pretty good. Hopefully marbury can return to being starbury.

I think it's hilarious that we all think this is stupid, but every <Censored> Knicks fan on RealGM loves this trade.

I thought it was a mixed bag more on the Realgm boards, with most of them against it, and hoping for another deal. Also, Penny will not suit up with Magic, as he's getting cut. What a downer.

Well, if they trade Marbury and his huge contract for some youth and a big man, Knicks could possibly become a pretty good team. i think Francis is an upgrade to Marbury, and all the Knicks need is a good low post scorer and defender, and maybe one less SG who wants to score (maybe deal out crawford?).

They definately got face value even though this is the worst team chemistry i've ever seen, i doubt ghandi could get these guys to get along. Why not draft T.O. in the offseason to just cement this team [IMG]

Marbury is smarter (a piece of <Censored> is probebly smarter than Francis), a better playmaker, a better shooter, better in crunch time.In terms of being a good POINT GUARD- Francis is nowhere near Starbs.

Yeah this is stupid. The Guard count just keeps upping for NY? Instead of getting guys who like to shoot alot and at a low percentage why not grab a power guy who will get boards and blocks? I just dont get it. How will Francis or anyone else even get playing time anymore? Lets see here...FrancisMarburyCrawfordRobinsonRoseQuentin RichardsonArizaMy god..poor Knicks :no1:
