I'd rather the Bucs let Phillips walk, and hopefully we can take that money and dedicate to a) Albert Haynesworth, because we need a defensive tackle, or b) Brandon Jacobs, to add some fucking stability to the ground game. Though it should be mentioned that Phillips' injury last year pretty much coincided with our defense spiking downward. Though I blame Monte Kiffin's yapper for that more than anything.
