WE NEED A THIRD OPTION BADLY! How many times is batum gonna have 0-4 points? Thats not acceptable for a playoff team. Who the hell knows when webster is coming back.

Nobody on this blazer team scores consistantly except roy and aldridge. Aldridge is kinda streaky too. You saw last night how much it hurts when he's off. The game was lost when the hornets couldn't score for 4 minutes. The problem was... neither could we. Seriously we will be 20-14 come Sunday night. We are the 8th seed and utah has an easy schedule coming up. If we dont make a trade soon, we will be watching the playoffs in April. Its that simple. KP must realize that our chances at playoffs are getting worse with the current roster. Last night again shows what happens when you dont get easy buckets. You live by the jump shot..you die by it. Blake should be the poster boy for that comment.

And btw...outlaw cant get out of portland fast enough. Good god.

What will happen if you wait 14 days? Will the sky fall?

No question we need a legit 3rd option, and Martell isn't it either. The last couple game are a nice example of where this team stands offensively. If Blake isn't shooting a crazy 3-point percentage, we don't have much of a chance w/o Roy.

lol...when blake is off like he was vs NO...we have no chance if roy doesn't play.

Its almost like i will take the loss vs the lakers just so roy hopefully will be back vs detroit.

Funny, but of all the Blazers who played last night only one had a positive +/-. Guess who?

I think you're right MIXUM. I feel like Rudy could be that guy, but he's still obviously adapting. I'm hoping he's out of his slump and will keep getting 10-20 ppg, but I wouldn't count on it. It seems like we're used to Roy and Aldridge playing well and a different 2-3 guys stepping up each game over the last two seasons. That can only work so much.

It'll be Rudy. Or LMA if we can get a guy like Butler (who I would love to have, though I don't think it's realistic given his reasonable salary and great skills).

Why does it have to be one particular guy? Why can't the team just function well as a unit? I think the reliance on one particular guy is a sign of a poor team, and one that is easy to stop.

Good players are the ones that perform consistently. That's what we need.

especially if LA is off like he was last night. Also I'd add Rudy and Travis to that comment about Blake, but you're spot on overall. Of course with Brandon as the focus of the attack, those 3's are more of a garnish then a staple and they tend to be better looks... and Aldridge usually makes the looks he was missing.

Here's guessing if KP can secure a "legit 3rd option" that fits the general needs/age of the club by the trade deadline that he will, but that possibility isn't a given. I totally disagree that this club absolutely has to make a move during this year though as making the playoffs this year isn't the big picture goal.

I just have one question for MIXUM. Did you really "have to say it?"

The type of team you want is is an 82-0 team. Man, the Blazers are young and Batum is a rookie man. There was a reason he wasn't drafted number 1. He's a good player, but he's adjusting. Let the cake back for fucks sake.

Why didn't you say anything about our win over the Celtics? All you ever say is bad stuff.

LMA, Roy, Rudy, Travis, Steve, Joel.

    6 solid options for scoring.

    Martell, soon Batum and Bayless.

Sergio will make them all scoring machines.

    Bake it!
