Re: Francis is a Knick! Ofcourse this will improve the Knicks, whenever getting a player like Francis and losing two players that didnt help at all will help. Re: Francis is a Knick! It came up for me, its over now, though..Not much to speak of. Francis didnt look too happy though, neither did Brown. Francis kept asking why he would fit in and what position he would play and he repeatedly said he "is a ball player and just wants to play". Conference didnt last long though, a couple questions and pictures with the jersey, you didnt really miss anything..

I am a huge fan, but you can't win without defense... Isiah killed this team when he brought in an offensive point guard, when the Knicks needed a defensive stopper in the back court... Now, we have two guys in the back court that love shooting the rock, and hate playing defense.... Were all set... :censored2:

They need to acquire some role players and build around their younger players and get some balance on that roster. The problem is, not many teams are going to be willing to accept a trade from the Knicks for players like Marbury or Richardson, but something needs to be done because the roster as currently assembled spells disaster..

They are a laughingstock and an example of everything that is wrong with the NBA.</div>yea they are right now. but you people start bashing this trade before francis even put on a uniform and stepped on the garden floor. how do you know this won't work? just because they are both offensive players doesn't mean <Censored>. francis isn't a pg anyway he's a sg even tho he is undersized. and larry brown said he is quick enough to guard pg's and strong enough to guard sg's. like i said, before you completely bash this trade, wait until you see what happens. i'm not saying it's going to work out and i'm not saying it's not going to work out but i at least will wait and see how it works out.
