Highly doubtful. Who else is going to play with Roy out? Rudy is starting, Martell is injured. If anything, it's to see if Bayless could take over for Sergio.

Bayless doesn't fit the D'Antoni style. I doubt that this is anything more than Brandon being hurt and needing someone who can play SG/PG (because outside of Blake and Rudy, we have none).

Showcased? If Brandon was healthy maybe and even then I would tend to think he's in because he can help the team. 2 dimes in 5 minutes aint bad.

Can someone point out the last time a player was actually "showcased" by a team?

I only saw the 1st quarter tonight, so I might have missed him in the 2nd.

But based on what I saw, I think he needs a lot of work. He eats up a lot of clock and made some poor decisions like stopping his dribble on the baseline for the Lakers to trap him.

Well then, the Knicks obviously wouldn't want such a project for such a polished player like Lee.

The fact that we're talking about Lee for Bayless possibly straight up means that he's a good enough prospect to trade arguably your best player for.

Is this thread topic serious? Did you notice Brandon Roy hasn't been playing?

His contract is effectively guaranteed for the next 3 years.

That's what I'm sayin'. Some need to realize that there are scouts and coaches that do nothing but watch and study basketball for a living and actually know what to expect from every NBA player in the league.
