The UFC is planning on returning to Montreal for UFC 97, and an old face may return to the UFC that night as well. David "The Crow" Loiseau (18-8), former middleweight title contender, is expected to face Ed "Short Fuse" Herman in April.

Loiseau has found success since leaving the UFC, putting together three straight wins and winning five of his seven last fights. One of his losses, a split decision to Jason "Dooms" Day, was widely regarded as a robbery. Losieau won his last fight, a five round title fight against another TUF alumn, Solomon Hutcherson, at XMMA 5. Loiseau, best known for his sharp elbow strikes, finished Hutcherson via knees in the fifth round.
