Your Club's Best Moment Of 2008
English Champions, European Champions, World Champions. All in the year of the 50th anniversary of Munich - what more could you want?

    Your Club's Best 3 Results Of 2008
Penalties win over Chelsea in Champion's League Final, 4-0 v Arsenal in FA Cup, 3-0 over Liverpool in Prem. Close: 2-1 over Arsenal, 6-0 over Newcastle, 1-0 over Barcelona

    Your Club's Villian Of 2008
Martin Atkinson - sent off Kuszczak for foul v Portsmouth when players were probably in position to cut off Pompey striker. Probably prevented another treble. Also failed to award early BLATENT pen to United.

Your Club's Worst Gaffe Of 2008
Few stupid losses e.g. v Zenit and played poorly v Arsenal and Liverpool this season. But I'd go with loss to City at home on anniversary of Munich. I think the players out-psyched themselves due to the stage and importance put on the game.

Your Club's Best 3 Players of 2008 - Shalrie Joseph, Michael Parkhurst, Steve Ralston

Your Club's Best Young Player Of 2008 - Kenny Mansally, Sainey Nyassi

    Your Club's Best 3 Goals Of 2008

Your Club's Best Moment Of 2008 - Defeating the Houston Dynamo to win the Super Liga

Your Club's Best 3 Results Of 2008 - Houston 5-6 New England (pp) Super Liga Final, New England 1-0 Santos Laguna (Super Liga), New England 1-0 Atalante (Super Liga)

Your Club's Villian Of 2008 - Herculez Gomez - Plays for Kansas City, but broke captain Steve Ralston's leg in the third to last game. The Revs were on the way down from the end of the Super Liga, but that was the final nail in the coffin of the Revs' season.

Your Club's Worst Gaffe Of 2008 - Not entirely sure what else this team could have done. It was the deepest team the Revs have had and all things seemed to be clicking early on. Injuries killed this team though as Taylor Twellman missed nearly half the season and Steve Ralston was out for the playoffs. Joseph was playing with various injuries all season and was still the best midfielder in MLS. What drove the team early on was the attacking play of the Gambians, Nyassi and Mansally, but they missed significant time as well.

There's a lot to build on here for next season as Twellman and Ralston should be healthy. The team was dominant early in the season with the attacking runs of Nyassi and Mansally to go with Mauricio Castro's strong play on the left and Ralston pulling the strings in an attacking midfield position. Joseph will be back patrolling the area behind Ralston and Kheli Dube will be back and looking to build on his surprising 08 season. The main question mark will be replacing Michael Parkhurst who was simply brilliant throughout his Revs career. Gabriel Badilla and Jeff Larentowicz seem to be the main choices to join a back line that includes Chris Albright and Jay Heaps.
