    WTF...

    Link

The person who wrote this article showed he reads message boards. This is absolute garbage. KP scouted the game to see Eddy Curry...... on the bench in a suit?

No way we take on Curry. He doesn't play good defense and is a negative in the locker room. Why would we want him?

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Perhaps as the cost of getting Lee.

Something along the lines of Frye and LaFrentz for Lee and Curry. Frye clearly is much, much worse than Lee...the inducement for the Knicks to do it would be to get rid of an otherwise immoveable contract.

Oh, come on E. I know you have intel sources and all sorts of inside info. But if you blab and everyone finds out the truth about KP, then all the other GMs will want to make a trade for our best and most lucrative, available assets; such as: Diogu, Frye, LaFrentz, Bayless and ... and maybe even Outlaw. Then think where that will get the Team and us.

    Go Blazers!

    GO KP

Wasn't there a rmor that Charlotte wanted curry for G wallace? Maybe we keep Lee and flip Curry for Wallace? Of course I don't think Curry by himself gets you Wallace.

I don't see how any sane GM could be interested in Curry at this point. He's injured, out of shape, and overpaid at this point. Plus his inability to get into game shape last summer confirms his lack of a work ethic.

You guys better hope this is just a rumor!

The "will do anything" comment cracked me up, apparently somebody in the Knicks management is plying the NY media pretty hard trying to get Portland to accept a piece of shit if KP really does want Lee. I can't see KP wanting Lee that badly.

I kind of expected this. It makes sense. Getting rid of Curry's contract is huge to the Knicks. I would be temtped to do it if it meant not having to give up a young talent as well to get Lee. (Which can be used in other trades if need be) Curry would be fine in the locker room for a half a season. You would think KP could unload him this summer. People always need big men. I guess i would rather not have him included, but if i were KP I would consider it.

Do anything for a big man? Who the hell is this league source... oh yeah, it's the NY Post, which has never broke anything or spoke anything of truth. It's like a National Enqurier. Curry is nearly the worst player in the NBA.

Someone else already quoted this, but it makes sense.

Knicks basically dumped Zach to clear up cap space. So they are probably looking to dump Curry. I think dumping Curry will be twice as tough as dumping Zach, so maybe the Knicks have to throw in a young promising player (Lee) to get a team to take Curry. What team out there has an owner who is willing to take on more salary, not care about the 2010 cap and has an expring contract they can trade?

Says who? I don't think the Knicks need be so desperate to dump Curry because his contract runs out in the mythical summer of 2010 anyway, so he would be out of the way for signing LeBron. In fact, the only player on their entire roster whose contract runs longer (by a year) is Jared Jeffries, whom D'Antoni raved about (before, inevitably, he got injured).

Talking of the Knicks, what's up with Gallinari? Is his back injury really career threatening?
