http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/templates/dailynews.asp?articleid=7912&zoneid=13 Thought Miguel Torres was fast? The WEC is planning on adding a flyweight division (125-lbs). Currently the WEC has four weight classes (135-lbs, 145-lbs, 155-lbs, and 170-lbs). There are only a few promotions in the world working with flyweights, including lesser-known organizations like Shooto and King of the Cage. The top flyweight in the world is Shinichi Kojima (who has won only two of his last five fights). Kojima is nicknamed "BJ" because his style resembles that of another top fighter. This is big news if you're into watching circus midgets fight!! Good gawd some supermodels weigh more than that
Bloody Elbow thinks the WEC will build its flyweight division around Olympic gold medalist in wrestling (55kg) Henry Cejudo.
Yeah I do like watching the smaller guys fight, they usually go harder, like they have a chip on their shoulder.
Yeah it's a chip alright.. a chocolate chip.. anything bigger and these guys would topple over I do admit that the 145 and 155 divisions put on great fights though.
