You can't compare hoops to hockey or football. In both of those sports they where pads. In football, and also some of the hockey players, they where masks. That's just bs.

Beyond that, you seldom see a fight in football. If there is a fight, they have helmets on. Certainly, you don't hurt anyone by throwing an elbow to another players helmet. I don't watch hockey because of the fighting. If i want to see fighting, I watch boxing or UFC.

The only pussie in this discussion is KG. Go watch the vid of him hitting Dice, then running like a scared little girl. What does he do after the cheap shot to Zaza, when Zaza walks up and puts his face in KG's?....he's backs down. What does he do when Peeler retaliates? He backs off, and bounces around until people step in to separate them. When Aldridge slaps him in the back of the head for the cheap shot, KG keeps walking. Can you say worst kind of wussie?

KG is one of those guys that has to find someone to hold him back or he would beat the crap out of the guy on the opposing team.

He doesn't actually need someone to hold him back, he just wants to look tough. When he's face to face with another big man he either does nothing or just flat out retreats, like he did vs McDyess.

It's funny how JE thinks KG is mimicking the days of the 70's and 80's, when in fact if KG pulled the shit he does now in that time, he'd find his ass in the front row on every play, probably by Maurice Taylor.

When he's face to face he acts calm and collected. When there's players between him and someone else, he acts like he's furious. Why did it take him 10secs to try and retaliate to Zaza in playoffs after Zaza stood right in his face? Because by 10 secs players were in between the two, and KG knew he wouldn't get to Zaza anyways. Terrible.

Just for the purpose of educating you, the refs are pretty inclined to call a tech on KG if Zaza is storming towards him with the kid-getting-no-desert look on his face. Its a reactions/instincts thing, Ted Turner. Just because yours have detiriorated doesn't mean that they're not a factor.
