When you are a knucklehead like Howard, your value takes a hit on the trade market.

I think Andrea Bargnani and Anthony Parker would fit in well with Dirk and the Mavs.

Good deal for Toronto if it happens. I hope it does, gives us a better chance at the playoffs, imo. Dallas gives up the best player in the trade.

Toronto would actually have a pretty nice starting lineup... still missing a SG but Calderon, Howard, Bosh and O'neal is nice.

LOL that's serve him right for not caring about the National Anthem. Ship his ass off to Canada.

Great deal for Dallas I think. Bargs gets to learn under a fairly decent big Euro in Dirk.

Good point. Brags would learn a lot from Dirk. I have always wanted to like Brags, but he never really did anything.

A border line AS talent for 2 rotation players isn't just a little unfair. JH is their only decent wing defender as well. Only Parker's deal is expiring so thats not it...unless they're just looking to rid themselves of Howard I see little reason to believe this rumor is legit.

I actually hope Dallas does it. It doesn't make them better this season -- the future, possibly. And it gives us a better chance at the playoffs. Howard is easily the best player in the deal, even though he's an idiot. Do it Mavs!

Looks like Cuban will do anything to get "Tony" Parker in a Mavs uniform. ;)

Toronto wins hands down. In fact I would go so far to say that if Dallas makes this trade, they are out of the playoffs.

Horrible deal for Dallas. Makes them much softer. Two 7 fts on the floor that play 25 from from the basket? Defesively they will suffer from that lack of toughness. Do It!

The only thing I can think of that Dallas might be thinking, is that for some reason they think they can turn Bargiani into their "replacement Dirk" for when he retires. As said before, he isn't Dirk, and never will be.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Wow. If they do this deal, it just goes to show that the people running Dallas didn't make a one-time mistake with Devin Harris, but are in fact completely clueless. They'll have dealt away their two best young/young-prime players for a handful of marbles.

I'd love for this trade to happen. Barganani has been terrible so far. I don't think simply changing teams is going to turn him into a good player. It would make Portland's chances of reaching the playoffs significantly better.
