Well i think the article was a bit premature. First off it was his third game and the first game he never even practiced with the team. He is averaging like 6 pts, 5 boards and 4.5 blocks a game in just over 20 minutes a game.

In recent moves the 14er's lost their number one scorer small forward to injury, and Weems was recalled to the nuggets. Also the 7 footer was traded to another nba team and he's no longer with them. This is now a great opportunity for Sean Williams to get plenty of minutes and improve on his defensive skills.

He does have a few things going for him thought: One is the coach is a former nets assistant, and the second is the point guard Gill knows Sean from playing with the nets, and playing with him all summer. Gill will make sure he gets plenty of touches, the rest will have to be up to Sean.

This article was premature cause he's only been with the team a week and played 20 minutes a game. I've seen all three games and swat is living up to his name blocking just about anything that come near him. It will take a little more time to have him blend into the offense, but his shooting percentage and ft % are fine.

The only problem i see is his defensive skills need work where he is prone to pick up alot of fouls. That was the purpose sending him to the D league in the first place. To get him minutes so he can improve his game. You can only learn so much from practice and from watching from the bench. He is now getting his chance. This writer is retarded......

SWAT needs to work on his overall game. in no way shape or form do i see him as a 3. Even so, at this point i wouldn't mind dangling him as trade bait.

(i wanted him to be a NET, his shot blocking ability drives me nuts but his body is just not NBA ready)
