Re: Travis On A Plane Outa Town? I'm guessing it is about playing some PF, like Nate mentioned yesterday.
Re: Travis On A Plane Outa Town? Why "after" the shootaround, though? I would think stuff like that would be discussed/incorporated before they practiced.
Re: Travis On A Plane Outa Town? read the rest of the article, lots of guys all season have been having one-on-ones with Nate. He probably told him something to the effect of, "You're a sixth year guy, start playing like one." (I hope).
Re: Travis On A Plane Outa Town? If that's the case, Travis had a crappy practice? On third thought, what's the difference between a practice and a shootaround?
Praise can be just as easily delivered after a practice as anything else. A "You did good today" can happen just as easily as a "Is there a problem?".
I think this was a motivation speech and encouragement by the coach. Perhaps Outlaw is feeling pressure on himself on scoring and his shots aren't falling through. This is how I interpreted the article.
I expect Travis to have a good game tonight. He's due and this talk probably will light a fire in him.. somewhere.
Why do I STILL have visions of him dreaming about catfish fishing near Starkville while doing his little shake 'n bake, fallaway maneuver?!
