Cleveland Acquires Nailon and Murray

The Cavaliers have acquire Lee Nailon from Philadelphia and Ronald "Flip" Murray from Seattle in seperate deals..Nailon: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2342311Murray: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2342228Philadelphia recieved a second round pick in exchange for Nailon (Philly also gave Cleveland a 2006 second round pick) and in return for Murray, Cleveland sent out Mike Wilks and a second round pick..

Both are good pick ups for Cleveland to strengthen their depth while giving up very little from their end..

 

how did Cleveland pull this off? Very nice deal for them.

 

Isn't Nailon in legal trouble. I remember living in DE, they had a report on him like a week ago about him possibly abusing his girlfriend.He's not a bad pickup, if I remember wasn't he with them last year? Flip another solid pickup.

Yea, Rok, He pushed his girlfriend a few times and other crap.Even trade for both teams. Hopefully they can get some good out of both

 

Cavs clearly won both trades.

 

I don't like getting Lee, I was glad we got rid of him last time we had him. Murray is a pretty good pick up, well at least hopefully he will be.

 

B oth are alright pick ups. Nailon did pretty well in New Orleans and if he got the chance I think he could be a decent scorer for the Cavs. Pretty smooth jumper. Murray is basically washed up but he is still an alright shooter. Still a jackass though.

 

How is Flip Murray washed up?

 

Ronald Murray is a streak shooter like Eddie House. Murray is a poor shooter, defender, and he makes dumb plays and turns it over too much. But his occastional high scoring games make up for his many bad spots.

 

Nailon got waived and Cavs sign Silver Graham(Stephen Graham) for the rest of the season.

Just bc he had one very good season, then went back to being an okay player doesn't mean he's washed up. He's still very effective when he gets going.

Murray is going to turn 27 this summer.
