I bought a book for my bro for christmas by FREE DARKO.com or something...it had some interesting stats on the 2000 draft...i think PRYZ is the best player (or top 3) out of that draft, as far as a solid contributer!

Yeah, wow, that 2000 draft was awful. Possibly the worst ever.

Michael Redd and Hedo Turkoglu are the best from the draft, I'd say. After that, Przybilla and Mike Miller are probably next.

 

ooh..didn't see Redd. I'd rather have Pryz than Hedo though.

 

Really? That's a tough one for me. Hedo has proven to be a really good player. Joel too though.

 

yeah, the position is harder to fill though IMO....great backup center that does all the right things.

 

What an absolutely terrible draft class... geez!

 

Kenyon Martin, Mike Redd, Hedo Turkoglu, Mo Williams, Jamal Crawford, Mike Miller, and arguably Deshawn Stevenson > Joel

 

of those, I believe only Redd would impact our team positively over Joel regarding what we have now.

 

Well I think Deshawn Stevenson is the only one because he is a pretty good perimeter defender.

But that was more my thoughts on who are better players than Joel, not necessarily for our team.

Portland should have traded up into the top 5. I thought so even at the time!
