    I would recommend Die Hard, but you've probably seen it.

    You should definitely check out Ricochet, awesome movie but not a lot of people have heard of it. It's with Denzel Washington and John Lithgow and it's from the late 80s.

    I just saw Defiance, and if you can find it somewhere (it's limited release, right now), it's one of the best movies I have ever seen.

    I hear rave reviews about City Of God, but the story doesn't interest me. I know I'm stupid for not wanting to watch it.

    Give it 10 minutes. You won't turn it off because it only gets better.

    That is why you made this thread. To watch movies you wouldn't normally watch. If you hate it I will give you all of my points. It's not about religion at all. It has a lot of good action scenes too.
