This happened in the Utah vs Golden State game on January 5, 2009 in Utah. A whistle was blown and Utah got an easy buckey when the Warriors were trying to attack the basket. Watch. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ba...an-and-whistle-help-Jazz-hold-?urn=nba,133110 Talk about a gutsy move by a fan. I can't believe this hasn't been done earlier. I would imagine this act by a fan would be an automatic removal from the game.
It apparently happened again tonight (I thought that's what this was about) in the National Championship game, though I didn't hear it or hear it confirmed for sure that's what happened. Tebow started to drop back and then just kind of turned and covered up the ball like the play was dead on third down, then realized that some people were still going and I think threw it away.
Absolute crap. I can't think of something more dishonorable for a fan to do than this, with the exception of physically interfering with the game in some way.
Fucking cheater Mormons. That is a disgrace. How can they not catch the fucking bitch who did that? That hella makes me mad!!!!
I wouldn't expect anything less from Utah fans. Once in awhile they do something pretty classless during a game.
I hate Utah. Back when we used to beat them every year in the playoffs, it was sweet (I think we're 4-1 or 5-1 all time in playoffs against them) I remember Brian Grant's head running into Karl Malone's elbows, and those Utah fans . . . there aren't many teams I'd rather beat than Utah. Maybe the Lakers.
Pretty much yeah. I am an athiest. Religion is the #1 problem with the world today. Another thread though. Don't start crying to me about how your God is the right God blah blah blah.
Not true, ShamWow...it's a guy who claims to know a guy who knows a guy in the FBI. It's 6 Degrees of Law Enforcement.
Oh please...you're an atheist!! Congrats! You probably drive a Prius as well, thanks for saving planet earth. That is such crap that you bring anything up about the mormon church into a basketball game...That's what you get when you have too many diet cokes I guess... Just have respect for other people...that's all I'm saying. Just as we would have respect for you...
I remember when the Blazers had batteries thrown at them in Utah during the playoffs I think...When was that, 98'?
