Bulls off to a nice start. Thabo looks especially good tonight. Have the bulls really blown anybody out yet this year?

Hopefully Vinny just benches Hughes for the entire second half. Play Rose/Gordon big minutes with Thabo playing some shooting guard minutes.

Hopefully this is a laugher the rest of the way and they can get ready for tomorrow night.

Either side of a laugher is actually D (development) time.

Bulls are looking good. I guess the occasional practice helps!

Yeah. It appears that we're actually running some type of offense tonight. Although Lindsey Hunter and Larry Hughes kill it from time to time.

Would anybody be shocked to know that BG is guarding Young...

Nobody should ever complain about Hinrich dribbling too much after what BG just did. Again.

Nope. Gordon shot well, but looked lazy when guarding (or attempting to guard Young)

Good game from Rose, Tyrus, Thabo. Something to build on. OKC had a tough loss tonight so the bulls should be able to take it to them. It'll be interesting to see who sits if Deng comes back tomorrow, too.

Gordon had a lot of mental lapses tonight. He had those 3 ugly turnovers at the beginning of the game (okay, the offensive foul wasn't ugly...). He then had 3 more, where it was a bad pass from Tyrus on one, and a bad pass by Rose on the other, but he usually gets those, and they weren't that bad.

His shooting was still very good. Some nice drives to the basket, and he passed the ball to find the open shooter pretty well.

Not a bad game by any stretch, but we can get more out ofhim.

Derrick Rose created more opportunities to score than usual, but his scoring was horrible. He needs to step it up.

It was almost like the Bulls wanted to see how Gordon play the pg role and how that would work with Rose playing more of a sg role in the offensive plays. Perhaps this was a move concocted to try to offset all the double teams Rose has been dealing with when bringing the ball up.

Rose did not look his usual great self driving the lane. When teams are effectively collapsing the lane, Rose needs to use his floater (which he seems to forgotten about) more. He was still able to beat his man off the dribble, just flick it up there instead of looking to finish at the rim.

Heh, dunno if beating the wiz is much to build on, they look putrid.

But Tyrus might finally be getting consistent. And Gray was thankfully absent

It's not that they were trying BG out at the point guard spot. In the first half, they were running a simple motion offense, pretty much the same one we used in grade school. So the offense was just calling for Gordon to take the ball and do something with it. He just got in some bad spots when driving in, and made some bad passes.
