We're also like 1.5 games from being out of the playoffs. I can't believe how tight the west is this year. However, this upcoming stretch should be a good one for us in playing against the Warriors, Bulls, Sixers, Nets, Bobcats, and Bucks. If Roy comes back healthy, we could take all six of those games going into Cleveland. Hell, we SHOULD be able to take all of those without Roy even with the Sixers starting to win some games.
Even 4-2 over our next 6 gets us to 25-16 halfway through the season--on pace for 50. Of course, we were 25-16 last year too, and we all know how the second half of the season treated us...
That's true, but I have a lot more confidence in this year's team. Even though we got younger, we also picked up a lot more talent. As long as the injury bug doesn't hit us too hard, we should be okay.
I thought N'Arlins owned that with their 22-11 record? I was just looking from the aspect of switching places with Denver...who's in 4th. I could be wrong on that perspective, though. Hey, who are the sweeties giving you "the business" in your avatar? You dog, you! Hey, at least you trot out REAL pictures, as opposed to those copy & paste numbers Shooter lays on us. (not that I'm really complaining, or anything.)
They will have the fourth-best record, but the division winners get the top three seeds... which makes a difference in (a) we'd play the 6th seed, rather than the 5th, who presumably will be an inferior team, and (b) we stay out of the Laker half of the bracket. When we first migrated over here I put up a series of pics with me and some lady friends. This is just another in a series of them. Oh, and they're flight attendants. Ed O.

Nope--Division winners are only guaranteed a top 4 seed, not a top 3. Remember last year--Utah won the NW division, and got the 4-5 matchup with Houston.
