Name one credible source that says Miles knee is medically sound.

    Go ahead.

    You can't.

The Blazers, the NBA, the Players Association all had doctors examine him.

All the Blazers have done is follow the process set forth by the league and the CBA, and the players association.

Darius Miles is not the Darius Miles Paul Allen gave 48 million dollars too. HIs knee has damaged cartilage and what one doctor described as the worst microfracture he'd seen. That is not going to change.

His knee is what it is.

Did the Grizzlies or the Celtics submit Miles to the same physical a team would if it were handing out a normal contract? I doubt it. They know what the condition of his knee is.

When you drive your car to the auto mechanic and he says get your car fixed now or it will break and you keep driving it you know you are driving on borrowed time and eventually your car WILL break.

Some people will. Some people won't. Darius doesn't care. And the Grizz and Celtics are obviously quite willing to exploit him to hurt Portland.

Nobodys willing to bet more than ten days on Darius. Nobody is offering him two or three year deals. It's because they know his knee is a time bomb waiting to explode. And the only ones who benefit from this are the teams who want Portland to have less salary cap flexibility than they currently do. And they are willing to exploit Darius to make this happen.

Darius has demonstrated he can play, and play fairly well for someone as rusty as he is.

That is a direct contradiction from what the doctors were paid to say about him.

    No. It isn't.

Darius hasn't demonstrated anything. Haven't you noticed no one is willing to give him more than a ten day deal? It's because they know the knee could blow out at any time.

The transmission went out on my sons van last week. We can still drive it. But that doesn't mean it will be safe or reliable. It means if you get in the van you can indeed drive it. How far? For how long? Anybodys guess. It's certain it will cease to operate completely at some point. It's like that with Miles knee. Its not a question of IF. Its a question of WHEN, it will break.

    The Blazers doctor.
    The NBA doctor.
    The NBAPA doctor.
As well as independant specialists all agreed about Miles knee. Unlikely they were all bribed, or "influenced" or mistaken. Evaluation of cartilage damage isn't something you can "get wrong". The MRI pictures and XRays we have today show every bit of everything inside the knee. I know. I've just had this done on my son and the quality of the images were nothing short of amazing.

If the Grizz examined Miles knee they know it is likely to break...sooner rather than later. Why didn't that bother them.

And if the didn't examine it. Why the hell not?

Obvious conclusion. They don't care about Miles or his knee. They want to play him to burn the Blazers....after that occurs they could care less.

So, just like the day before he first injured it, apparently.

There are no guarantees in life, except for the one where if he plays in ten games he's not considered a career-ending injury victim. The Blazers were arrogant enough to think they could get the league to freeze him out, and it's backfired on them.

    Karma. Don't mess with it.:tsktsk:

Here's today's mind bender: Maybe Darius' knee is shot and he can still play? I've had two knee surgeries on the same knee and I still go out and do the same stupid shit that got me hurt in the first place (rock climbing), it hurts like hell at times and I'll probably have to get scoped and have scar tissue cleaned up at some point and I imagine I'll be using a cane when I'm in my seventies.

Miles having a fucked up knee doesn't mean the dude is a cripple and can't play, if he really wants to play this badly and still has some pro level hoop left in him who are the Grizzlies to deny him his opportunity? It's not like he's doing this without having been informed of the consequences by a doctor.

you are reaching wildly here, unless i am misunderstanding you. are you claiming that the NBA paid off the doctors to influence them towards saying it was a career ending injury? i understand that you want to express that you were right or something, but what?

wanna bet miles doesnt play in the NBA next season? ill even give you odds.

hell, I bet he's not even playing in the CBA next season!

Miles doesn't love basketball, he loves the NBA lifestyle. That's why the $ isn't enough for him.

    Wrong.

    Fail.

You haven't said one sensible thing about this subject.

So silly, I wonder if you aren't just yanking our chains with your bizarre pronouncements about fraud and felony.

    Crazy.

Most of the time I don't bother responding to your posts I disagree with. It would take all day.

Then they should be suing the NBA and the players' union. The Blazers didn't make the final call on this.

Another poster who has no clue what "career-ending injury" means as it applies to this situation.
