Enjoy the lawsuit, Heisley. I hope the $300k of Paul Allen's money was worth it when you have to sell your team before declaring bankruptcy after the upcoming lawsuit. http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2009/jan/09/memphis-grizzlies-re-sign-darius-miles/
Exactly. Everyone is going crazy 'cause we're going to go bankrupt for something that isn't going to happen, so enjoy dreaming about it.
Kinda wished like Denver or Utah signed him for a back to back against Portland played him 1 minute each game and then cut him.
lol...they can't get sued over signing a free-agent...Portland tried to bully other teams with no backing to it...it wouldn't surprise me that it's thier e-mail that provoked the signing. I guess we'll see if Memphis plays Miles in two more games and then lets his 10 day contract run out.
If Memphis is smart, they keep him for the 10 days, play him every game (1 minute per) and that shuts up everything. Then they can say they did it for the 10 days to see him play more.
Even funnier than 1 minute a game would be 1 second a game. Bring Miles in...inbound ball...timeout, get out of the game Darius!
awww...that's just messed up...what about Miles' feelings? lol...he really wants to make a come back...lol
Good. It's good to finally see the "perfect" Portland FO fianlly sweat for once. Sorry, I'm a bit bitter. I have a small issue with Portland's usual activity on draft day.
I don't care about that so much. I'm happy because it gives them less money to throw at Gordon depending on who they keep out of Blake/Outlaw, and also, because it gives them an incentive to trade Lafrentz for Hinrich/Noc, which the Bulls need for 2010.
Yuck it up. Miles just signed the worst possible contract available to him, which means bye-bye union backing. It also means an active FA has one less spot to make a max contract at next year. Hope it was worth it!
PS. Hope giving away PAU was worth it! sorry had to stick it to y'all like the Grizz are trying to do to us
And how appropriate is it that the diaper wearing geek is close to being elected to the United States Senate! Not Funny.
