<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Marion Frustrated By Trade Reports24th February, 2006 - 2:28 pmAZCentral.com - Shawn Marion started hearing a rumor last week that he would be traded for Minnesota's Kevin Garnett. He got calls to the point that he wondered whether it was true."It's frustrating," Marion said. "Me being in the situation how I am and how I approach this game and what I do for this team, it's frustrating just to hear that. It's always my name."Even though (Suns staffers) came and told me I wasn't going to be traded, I had to approach them first. I didn't like that.""Shawn Marion's not going anywhere," D'Antoni said. "Arguably, he's a MVP candidate. Oh, yeah, let's trade him. That'd be stupid."</div> I mean, I look at this and I look at all these b******t KG rumors and I wonder why people do this. I don't know if it's RealGM's trade checker and all this other stuff but it's getting really annoying and I wish people would just wait until a trade is announced instead of all this crap.
I don't know, I personally like the rumors. I like hearing all the rumors and thinking how each trade would change the league.
some of them are okay but i think they do get out of hand. i think the kg rumors were a joke cuz everyone knew he wasn't going anywhere. and the AI rumors were ridiculous too. why would the sixers trade him when they're in the playoff race?
Marion needs to realize rumors happen, and that most of them are bullshit. He just needs to ignore them and play his game. Also, I don't think their out of control, people need em, something to talk about, typical Americans gossip.
What a baby. Eddie Jones was involved with trade rumors ever since he stepped his first foot in Miami. Im talking about from pre-season to the deadline. For 5 years this happened to him, until he eventually did get traded. There is nothing you can do but to ignore them. And please dont cry to the media about your frustrations.
KG to Phenox would be dumb anway because it would put Amare out of the line up unless they put KG at SF like they do in All Star Games but that wouldnt work either imo
That would've been AWESOME. A front court of KG, Amare and Diaw with out two guards would be insane. That's dumb to think Amare would be out of the line-up. KG is 7 feet tall, Amare and Diaw have both played center also so it wouldn't be a problem. We also have extra drafts picks from the Hawks to give them. I would've loved that. I mean, Marion is great but KG would be better and they are both in their late 20's...It isn't happening though since the trade deadline is over and Marion was on the Arizona Sports Report and he was relieved that he wasn't being traded.I can understand why Marion's mad though. It is always him in trade rumors. Like the Kidd and Marion for Kobe rumors.
I like some of the rumors, but only if they have a good chance of going down. I hate the bullshit ones like KG going to the Knicks..
There is an article in the Pioneer Press about Dwane Casey being upset over the Garnett rumors. I think it's on RealGM.com right now, too. He thinks the New York Daily News article on the Knicks getting ready to make a run at Garnett in the summer is tampering.I have to admit, I like reading rumors to see what teams are talking about. What I hate is rumors that are made up and have no credible evidence to support their rumor. It seems like anyone who has a computer can become an "insider" with "sources". I don't trust rumors I see unless it's on ESPN, RealGM or another site I trust. But even with those, I tend to take them with a grain of salt.
Trade rumors are alot like women: some are great, some are terrible, some make no sense to you, others make all the sense in the world, and without them, we would be lost.
