SOURCE<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Francis makes Knicks debut against Nets New Jersey (30-23) at New York (15-38) 8:00 pm EST NEW YORK (Ticker) -- For better or worse, Steve Francis will make his debut for the New York Knicks on Friday when they take on the neighboring New Jersey Nets. Francis, who was acquired Wednesday from Orlando for Penny Hardaway and Trevor Ariza, will team up with Stephon Marbury to form a talented but possibly volatile backcourt. They are point guards who play like shooting guards, leaving many to wonder whether the combination will do more harm than good for the Knicks, who have lost 17 of their last 19 games. Francis was on the bench but did not dress Wednesday as New York, which has the second-worst record in the NBA, dropped a 103-83 home contest against Miami in the first game for both teams following the All-Star break. Marbury was in the lineup for the first time after an eight-game absence because of a shoulder injury, but was limited to just seven points on 2-of-11 shooting. Rookie Channing Frye collected 17 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. New Jersey has won its two games since returning from the break, including Wednesday's 96-93 home victory against the Magic. All-Star Jason Kidd collected 28 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists as the Nets won for the seventh time in nine games. Richard Jefferson scored 23 points and All-Star Vince Carter added 22 points and nine rebounds for New Jersey, which has won its last five games against New York.</div>Well, he will wear #8 for the Knicks instead of 3-already worn by Marbury- but if he starts or not, i dont know yet. I think the Knicks will get a win tonight and I hope they can finish off the season solid.PN13

Francis was ok, but Marbury was bad, heck pretty much the rest of the team sucked. Worst was Q Rich, who I think missed every shot he had from the field almost. Channing Frye and Jalen Rose were by far our best players on the court and both looked real impressive. Nenad Krstic went 11-11 from the field tonight which was very impressive to say the least. VC and RJ were all real impressive as well. Best part of the game was the constant "Fire Isiah" and "Fire Dolan" chants that were going on. Overall the score did not show what really happened cause the Knicks were blown out. Going 27-42 from the FT line and committing 14 TO's = another loss for the Knicks.

francis didn't even practice with the team. how does a team this talented always find the easiest way to <Censored> it up? this is a game we should've won. brown is an idiot because he is too stupid to realize that he's got a good player in david lee who can by himself change the entire game because he's got heart and hustles. something the entire team lacks and larry brown is simply an old piece of <Censored>.

Well the Knicks just put on another top-notch performance tonight in Washington. But fear not, our leader Isiah feels that this will all turn around and we'll get better soon.....what a moron. This team will not get to 25 wins this year, heck even 20 wins is gonna be a stretch it seems.
