Nate has a rule against them?!??!? I didn't know that. But I really like LMA with one on. I think Outlaw and Oden should wear one too. Don't ask me why those two.
One time in Seattle, the Sonics had a throw back night and the team dressed up in headbands and high socks, the whole nine yards. Well, they got run outta the gym and ever since Nate has put a ban on them....pretty lame if you ask me
I wonder if Lamarcus plays better when he can't hear out of one ear.....he usually waits for a double team to come, but tonight he was just attacking the rim. Maybe he couldn't hear anything...so if he figured he couldn't hear them coming he better just go to the rim. Beats me.
Maybe just because they can get in the way. One could slip and block your vision if someone swats at your head. I don't know.
a big NO on the head bands, too many horrible memories including that weak ass song "can i get a headband" tarnishing the legacy of "Bust-a-bucket" and "RipCityRapCity."
Yup. I put one on the other day and instantly started walking with a limp, started craving a 40oz, rolled a blunt, got a gold & diamond plated grill for my teeth, and went out and had 5 illegitimate kids in a day. It was like this crazy force of nature that I couldn't stop. It wasn't until I was running from some cops that it fell off and now I'm back to normal.
All the team wore them in support of LaMarcus in practice Friday. Asked whether they would do it for the game as well and Brandon Roy replied "is Nate still the coach?" Too bad really. I think it would have been cool to do it during the game in support of their teammate. It could have brought some possitive media to the team after the whole lawsuit letter debacle. The guys on NBAtv would have talked about it a little
Does anyone know what the complications of a ruptured ear drum are? Is it just going to affect his hearing for a few days or are there permanent effects to this sort of injury? Whatever the case, I just hope LMA's okay.
