It's beginning to look like a game of musical chairs -- 6-to-make-5. I didn't list San Antonio or New Orleans as I see them as relative shoe-ins. Ya never know, though.
I voted Dallas, I don't like their roster, no interior scoring, and Howard is to streaky to help carry them down the stretch.
I voted Phoenix, 'cause I don't see Shaq continuing to play as well as he has throughout the entire season.
I have Dallas. They're not currently in the 8th spot, of course, but I think they'll struggle over the second half and lose ground.
I'd say Dallas is dangerously close to not making it. One injury to Dirk and they are DONE. That's just my feeling anyways.
I'm going to go with Houston. They have too many fragile / volatile pieces that it's going to be hard for them to just stay healthy, let alone consistent.
I voted us. I realize our schedule supposedly gets easier, but we just aren't playing the way we should to win. People point to the Boston and Detroit wins, but clearly those wins aren't as impresive as people might have thought they were. Boston sucks all of a sudden, and Detroit was a win at the buzzer when a HOFer missed a jump shot. Then they got clobbered by the Jazz. Who is under us right now in the standings, and also missing a star player. Time will tell, and I hope to God I'm wrong, but uness we add something to our mix it's us. Another thing I'd like to add is that we were a lot of fans second or third favorite team, so the other arenas weren't quite as hostile towards us because they enjoyed seeing us play. Reading the message boards after this Miles clusterfuck by the team, they all hate us now. It should be interesting
I had no idea Martell had been through the playoffs and could show our team what it takes night in and night out to get there?
We don't need to add anyone. Blake has been through the playoffs and can show our team what it takes night in and hnight out to get there.
seems to be a lot of confidence in denver. i'm not so sure they're any better than most of the teams on that list, including us.
Denver would be a good choice as well. I'm not sure how long they can keep this up. Wouldn't Billups look studly in a Blazer uniform right about now?
