I would pick Philly if it wasn't in Arizona. Arizona proved a lot to me by going into Carolina and stomping them. That is scary. They're clicking at the right time, but so are the Eagles. That game is a toss up IMO. Cardinals 24-17 (41) Ravens 14-10 (24)
Steelers 20-10 (30) Eagles 38-31 (69) I don't think there's any way the Ravens can hang with the Steelers defense, especially in Pittsburgh. IMO, the Eagles at their best are better than the Cardinals at their best.
I would agree, but Arizona has that momentum and that feel to them...the same way the Giants did last year. I just can't pick against them at home after what they just did to Carolina. Their defense has really stepped it up.
I'm not trying to sound cocky or anything, knowing our past this NFC Championship game can very well turn into a huge letdown, so I am pretty nervous about how our team will perform. But the Falcons and Panthers do not match up to us defensively. With the way our defense has been playing recently, I'm confident we'll be able to stop anyone. We're also one of the best teams defending against the pass as well, and we have one of the top secondaries in the league. Also, when the teams matched up earlier on in the season, the Cardinals weren't much of a hassle at all (48-20). We beat them when the team was falling apart (after the Baltimore game when McNabb was benched) and did so convincingly. I know they've gotten better recently, but so have we. Playing on the road also isn't a big factor. We beat the Vikings in Minnesota, and went up to New York, our division rivals, and handled them there. So I don't think it will be a big deal. Also, McNabb is much better than Jake, or at least I'm hoping he will be. I don't really think these two should be compared at all, but that may be my Philly bias. The Cardinals did not really do that great of a job stopping the run though. Williams averaged 5.3 ypc, Stewart 4.0, so I'm pretty sure Westbrook will have a much easier time next week than he did against the Giants. Just hope everyone shows up to play...
If the Cards somehow beat the Eagles, they will have proven something. Until then, they beat a young team at home and benefited from Delhomme's worst game ever. Philly 27-20 (47) Steelers 20-17 (37) BasX the Ravens will play you VERY tough, that could go either way so the Steelers need to be quite careful. That might be your toughest test considering how they know you so well. I wouldn't bet any money on it, that's how uncertain I am. Good luck to you and Dissonance19 though. Ravens look scary and look like they might have God, Karma, whatever you want to call it, on their side.
Ravens are very scary, and play us AWESOME. All the time. However, we are coming off our best game of the year. And the Chargers are not as physical as the Titans. The Ravens have not had a bye since week 2. However, we need to watch out. But i have confidence. Ravens might just be tired.
Man, we need to stop this Wild Card stuff.... Look what we started, winning the Super Bowl as a 6th seed.
Oh, Picks are due by 12:01am Sunday, because I`ll be at the Raptors game Sunday and won`t get home until 5.
Apparently the Steelers are 7-0 against teams they can beat three time in a row. I'm not sure 100% but have over heard that. I remember the last one though. Versus Cleveland with Maddox at QB during the 2003 playoffs.
Eagles 30-24 (54) Ravens 15-12 OT (27) Glad to be back and I'm so biased on the Ravens pick it's not even funny.
Frame is going with Cards- 37-33 (70) Ravens- 23-21 (44) That means if I was a betting man, I would take the Eagles and Steelers.
