I guess I could say I'm in that camp.

IMO, every one of these games is "winnable" and, for whatever reason, I see this trip as a kind of watershed moment of the season.

Therefore, from a microcosmic approach, .500 is not acceptale to me this season. (Yes, I realize these are all road games. Nonetheless......)

Portland goes 1-3 on this trip.

The opposing arenas are going to be very different from this point forward.

I would hope we go 3-1 or at least 2-2 but you never know on the road. Anytime you are playing back to back games on the road it is tough.

Meh, you know I don't think they will MM. I'd be surprised if the fans remember this a week from now.

OK, then, they should strap on their J.R. Rider's "World Beaters" personalities.

Yes, anything less than 3-1 would be disappointing based on who we play. I wouldnt be surprised to see us go 4-0. The Nets are the only squad that might beat us IMO. D.Harris has been hurt, but is expected to play tonight, hopefully he's still a little rusty on Thursday.

    We should expect 3-1
but, I wouldn't be heartbroken with 2-2 on an eastern swing.
Roy coming back should provide an emotional lift, and with Aldridge's resurgent play, I could see us sweeping this trip.

For this team, .500 ball on the road for the season wouldn't disappoint me in the slightest if we can maintain or improve upon our .778 winning percentage at home. That winning clip pencils out to ~52 wins. I think 52 gets us into the playoffs...

I'm scared of the Bulls. Any time you beat a team as big as we beat them, they'll remember.

Yeah, I'm sure the Bulls will have some extra motivation after that massive beatdown we handed them earlier in the season.

They need to handle their business on the road. I would be disappointed if they dropped a couple, but I wouldn't be shocked. I just hope Roy's hammy stays healthy because any setbacks would be a huge blow.

I don't think you have to worry about the Bulls. OKC just beat them in OT in Chicago.

Why would CHI risk Rose in garbage time?

I'm worried about the Nets. 3-1 would be acceptable, 2-2 would be par for the course in mild disappointment.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
The vast majority of fans have no idea about all of this. Most fans aren't obsessive enough to argue on discussion forums. ;) A friend of mine who follows basketball quite a bit, but not to the point of reading everything about basketball on the Internet, asked me, "Hey, did you know the Grizzlies re-signed Miles?" He had no idea about The E-Mail. I think most fans aren't even that aware of Miles.

Except this Miles thing has been covered by several atricles in Yahoo and I keep seeing it scroll across the screen on ESPN.

First it was "Blazer threaten to sue team that signs Miles" then "Giz sign Miles in spite of Blazers threat."

But other fans aren't likely to hold onto this issue as long as Blazer fans. I was pretty upset by the email and I had let it go . . . until I read Canzano's article yesterday. :D
