IMO I think the author is off on Wand's "Sandstorm" entrance being comedey relief. I think he likes the song and for the way he fights, it's appropriate.

Not mentioning Cro-Cop entering to "Wildboys" is a huge ommission. :D

This is one area GSP really needs to improve his game. The Regga he's been entering too has been crap. :devilwink:

I love Liddell's entrance music. If I was a fighter, I'd come out to Welcome to the Jungle, Til I Collapse, or Let's Go.

For a comedic entrance, I'd come out to "I wanna be sedated" :D

For rock I'd go with Pantera's "Walk" or RATM's "Killing in the Name of" hell just about any Rage song would get me pumped.

For Hip-Hop I'd go 2Pac "Violent" or "Me Against the World"

Walk is a great choice because the fans can sing along, but Rob Van Dam might have a gripe.

Tenderness was awesome. I was laughing at that one. Kaplan is a strange dude.

Imagine wasn't a strange choice considering Monson is a hardcore socialist/anarchist.

I think rap songs are more or less played out for entrance music, save for GSP's taste in French rap. French rap almost always sounds cool. Funky Family FTW!

Raining Blood would be a great entrance tune.

I was always partial to Jerome LeBanner's over dramatic entrance as well. Might strike fear into the devout Christian fighter demographic. I think it is called Apothesis. I don't know exactly what it is called or how it is spelled, but you hear it in commercials a lot. Too bad Jerome always seems to hurt himself or gas out these days.

as far as elaborate entrances, nothing will ever top Genki Sudo's various entrances.

Although Gono's entrace with DJ Ozomo (spelling?) was great too

The worst entrance I've seen, other than Tyson Griffin coming out to Eye of the Tiger, was at a Pancrase event. The guy came out to Living La Vida Loca, with Japanese lyrics, and he was accompanied by guys that could only be described as boy toys in leather biker chaps, etc.. WTF?
