Dude get the ps3. So much better. Better graphics. Trust me, I have experienced both consoles. You also get free-online with PS3 to where you can always find a game at any time. So yeah PS3 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
the ps3 is awesome but the wii is a blast as well. like i said i have a ps3 but in the near future i'll own a wii as well, it's so different from even the ps3.
the wii is only fun to me when your playing with a bunch of friends. And it's fun for about 20 minutes. I like grown up games like NBA or NFL or Resident Evil. All of those games are really lame to play on the wii. Although, Tiger Woods on the wii is pretty cool.
My friend got me to play the wii for 5 minutes before I realized how boring it was. When I play games I want to be sitting odwn not moving anything except fingers and thumbs.
i guess it depends on what your looking for........... wii is more for multiple users while ps3 is more for the basic video gamer
I've only had the Playstation 3. Metal Gear Solid 4 is the bomb, yo! I played the Wii,, but it's meh.
i agree the wii is much more fun with multiple people. i just like how it adds a different aspect to the game instead of sitting on the couch. seems much more interactive, and they do have some cool games but i don't think the game developers know how to maximize the new system. once they have the kinks worked out i think it could be much more fun playing solo games. having said all that, there's a reason i got a PS3 first and not a wii. GTA4 is great, i even like army of two, and i've heard my next purchase needs to be GMS4.
halo is cool, gears is pretty much an above average game that you can find on any system. the netflix thing to me is funny, when i first heard about i thought that was really pretty cool, then found out you can only watch the view instantly movies. i wonder if they can give you HD quality picture and sound through the 360?
I got all three...I watch movies on my PS3, and Wii is great for when company comes over since not everyone is a diehard gamer and the Wii is perfect for the casual crowd. When it comes to games....I always find myself going back to the 360. I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I've never gone through any of the horror stories other's have about thier 360. No Red ring (knock on wood) and I've had mine for 3 plus years now....well up until last month when it started having trouble reading disks (I attribute that to dust in the system since I'm deployed, but I'm no expert...lol) but, I just mailed it off to get checked and picked up a new one.
The ps3 costs more up front, but it's more cost efficient in the long run, Sony doesn't nickel and dime you like Microsoft does.
